BACKSTAGE
Rina was shaking she could barely pick up her guitar. Staff were running around the area, coffee cups everywhere, Yizhou running to get her friends outfit ready.
She was so pumped for this but also nervous. This was her first stage and so many people were there screaming for The Neos "Everyone, they have to go on stage in 5 minutes so hurry up." Taeyong yelled as he hurriedly went to Haechan to fix his ear piece.
"Okay Rina, this is going to be your first stage so don't be scared alright just remember what we practiced." Yizhou stood behind her trying to massage away the clot of nervousness Rina had.
"I dont know, what if they dont like me or I mess up" she muttered not wanting anyone but Yizhou to hear in fear she might cause some negative energy.
"Dont worry Rin, it's gonna be hard for you to mess up and if you do, it wont be the end of the world okay." Rina felt a some weight lift off of her as she processed what she said.
"The boys are going to start okay just get ready now." Yizhou pat her head before leaving to where the other managers were. Rina was happy to have Yizhou with her as they shared such a special bond and it just felt nice to have someone you're comfortable with in a new setting.
- Rina stood behind the curtains while the boys were on stage waiting for the instrumentals to start. As it got to her part, Yizhou threw a thumbs up at her signalling her to start.
'Well, good 4 you i guess you moved on really easily' She sang into her mic laughing in her head at how confused the crowd was hearing her voice.
As she the curtains dropped she sang the next few lines walking to the guitar that was placed on the side of Johnny's drums. She picked it up and put her mic into the stand, looking into her peripheral vision she saw Yuta give her a nod.
'You found a new girl and it only took a couple weeks, remember when you said that you wanted to give me the world?"
'And good 4 you, i guess that you've been working on yourself, I guess that therapist i found 4 you she really helped'
'Now you can be a better man 4 hour brand-new girl" The crowd was in awe at her talents, savouring every single sound that came out of her mouth.
She turned around giving a nod to Johnny as he started drumming loudly, 'Well good 4 you, you look happy at healthy not me if you ever cared to ask" she sang in an upbeat tone that energised the crowd.
'Good 4 you, you're doing great out there without me, baby god i wish that i could do that' she put her guitar onto the stand and walked to Johnny, vibing with him as he kept drumming fast while she was singing.
'Ive lost my mind, I've spent the night crying on the floor of my bathroom but you're so unaffected i really dont get it but i guess good 4 you'
She walked up to Jungwoo on the keyboard, putting an arm around him lazily as she sang 'well good for you, i guess you're getting everything you want, you bought a new car and your career's really taking off'
'Its like we never even happened, baby what the fuck is up with that?' She couldn't help but smile as the crowd cheered at her washing away all the negativity she felt before.
'Well good for you, you look happy and healthy not me if you ever cared to ask, and good 4 you you're doing great up there without me baby, like a damn sociopath' She felt so energetic and excited she felt as though she was born solely for singing on stage.
Rina walked over to her spot putting the mic back inside its stand 'I've lost my mind, I've spent the night crying on the floor of my bathroom, you're so unaffected i really dong get p, but i guess good 4 you.'
The song had ended and her mouth was numb. She looked across the crowd in happiness as they were all cheering for them. She was about to take of her earpiece before she felt a pair of huge arms hug her from behind.
"You did well" was all she heard, she looked back at Yuta in shock but still smiling as she just did her first stage ever.
Once she turned back around and reciprocated the hug, the crowd was screaming even more, if it wasn't for the adrenaline rush she had right now, she would've ran away from him.
"Thanks" She muttered into his ear before leaving backstage were there was a smiling Yizhou attacking her with hugs.
