Her Greatest Secret

Prologue

Lhiavian's pov,

The Schedule today was a little rough than usual as we've been preparing for a grand meeting that I have been looking forward to..

A chance to get recognized by the Léclair's a well known family that had made great contributions to the entrepreneur world, with powerful connections that everyone wishes to be a part of

But that's not why I'm here for, I just simply wish to make ends meet and honestly make good money for the family I left behind outside the city.

"Miss Solei?" I turned my head upon hearing my surname from Daphne who was peaking her head inside the office "Please prepare your proposal, the board made some changes and will proceed with the meeting tomorrow" shit, I thought to myself

" Really?.. that fast? I thought it was supposed to be on Monday?" It's not that i wasn't well prepared in fact I sure as hell am well prepared, because I have been preparing for this my whole life and I wasn't about to waste an opportunity of a lifetime. It's just that people makes me nervous, confidence is not within me and stage fright would sure wave its hands at me, so yes I'm prepared but not just mentally..

"Yes hun, just be prepared tomorrow and give your best shot" she said just as she was closing the door

I just shrugged the thought of me being a mumbling idiot tomorrow and decided to head to the mall to get myself a new pair of heels for tomorrow

I called my best friend tiffany, and dialed her number as i was looking at my worn out shoes..

"Hey babe, what's up?" Tiffany answered

"I'm outside the building, are you free?... I'm heading to the mall"

"Yep, I'll head down in five lemme just grab my stuff" As i waited for tiff, I noticed someone from the distance with a familiar figure.. he was tall and was wearing an outfit in black, he sure as hell is sketchy but I shrugged it off because why the hell would anyone stalk me when I'm just an average commoner

"Hey liv!" I looked behind my back and intertwined my arms around tiff''s

"Let's go?" I asked then went on our way while blasting the car with our favorite song..

Shortly after some time we arrived at the mall, tiff and I grew up in the same town we were practically like siblings but she's more outgoing and what they call "fun" while I'm busy shoving my face in books and just basically staying at home watching movies and dramas on my free time. I always wanted to be like her more fun and less awkward..

I lacked self confidence while knowing I'm not that ill looking just not into dressing up, although i've always wanted to dress like how tiff does growing up I didn't learned how to because the money we had is just enough for our needs not the wants

I'm not a pick me don't get me wrong, I'm not just bright when it comes to what tiff is into
But now that i have my adult money after working my ass off I decided it's the perfect time to learn how to dress up especially for tomorrow's event

And so i did, I picked a simple white outfit with a black stilettos and then decided to buy a bunch of makeup products together with some skincare products and even got some health supplements, it felt great doing things for me now that i live comfortably

Tomorrow is sure as hell gonna be a big day,

And I'm here for it..
