the older just observed him 'he has changed so much, not the little taetae with his nerd glasses' the ceo thought to himself.
"sit down" jungguk ordered with a stern tone, dominance dripping in his voice.
the younger settled himself on the armchair, fidgeting with the hem of his hoodie.
"as much as i am happy to see you back tae, can you tell me why you came to korea without informing anyone" jungguk questioned, his eyes narrowed.
"i- i wanted to see grandma" taehyung stuttered, meeting the older's gaze, a shiver running down his spine.
"do you know how much of a chaos was caused just because you sneaked out?" the elder blurted.
"hyung i don't know why all these happened but i just wanted to visit grandma--- i didn't get to see her from past six years and i don't even remember how she sounds like" the younger muttered tears welling up in his eyes.
jungguk just stared at taehyung for a good minute and opened his mouth to say something again.
but stopped when he noticed the tears that were threatening to fall down the younger's cheeks and decided to talk more softly.
"listen tae, i can understand but you sneaking out and coming here isn't good for both you and our families--- you won't even be able to fly back to paris anymore" the ceo explained.
"but why? what did i do?"
"you didn't do anything"
"then why are people behind me, i was nearly kidnapped for the second time"
"i'll tell you the truth when the time comes-- but now i heard you graduated? what was your major?" the ceo asked trying to distract the confused boy.
"business and arts"
"good then, from tomorrow you'll be coming with me to our company and do whatever task i give you, got it?" jungguk announced with a casual tone
"what? i don't even have any experience" taehyung protested, as a questionable frown formed on his face.
"no more questions, you'll do whatever i tell you to do and remember you'll have to stick to me 24/7, as i have to keep you safe--- any objections?" the older asked expecting more questions.
"yes, i have a question " the brunette replied.
"and what is it?"
"i'm hungry can i got eat something?" the younger asked innocently, displaying his puppy eyes.
jungguk gave a 'be serious right now' look to the younger and let out a small "you can go", the puppy eyes sure did melt something.
"thank you, have you eaten yet hyung" the brunette asked with a sweet smile.
"not yet, you go i'll join you guys later-- also my friends are living here too, don't be surprised and greet them" jungguk instructed.
taehyung just nodded and quietly walked out of the room, he doesn't really get along with people, here he already got a big task of getting along with jungguk's friends.
'damn this kid not even a single sign of seriousness' the older thought to himself, as he looked at taehyung slowly walking out the cabin.
jungguk remembers meeting taehyung for the first time at a family dinner.
he remembers the way taehyung was eating with a adorable pout.
the heat of the food made taehyung's glasses all foggy and the younger kept complaining about it to his mother.
jungguk chuckled at the cute memory.
they did talk that day with taehyung constantly asking the older to teach him to play guitar on getting to know that jungguk is a pro at it.
a smile made it's way on jungguk's lips, as he remembered taehyung now looking more beautiful than ever.
'he's just cute nothing else to be smiling about' the older reminded himself immediately getting back to his usual expressionless self.

meanwhile taehyung made his way to the dining table spotting 5 people who were busy laughing.
one of them noticed the younger "oh taehyung, come sit" a tall male offered taehyung a seat.
taehyung just smiled at them and sat himself down.
"hey taehyung, you probably know us as jungguk's friends, by the way i'm seokjin the one sitting beside you is eunwoo, the three sitting across are jimin, namjoon and hoseok" seokjin introduced then to the younger.
"hi taehyung, nice to meet you" all of them said in unison.
"hello, nice to meet you all" taehyung waved at them with a smile, he's not used to being around this many people.
'this is going to be awkward' the younger mumbled to himself.
