After the passionate kiss, I felt a mixture of emotions bubbling inside me. The heat of the sun, the sound of the waves breaking gently on the beach, the salty aroma of the sea-everything seemed intensified by the euphoria that filled my chest. Kylie was there, hand in hand with me, and I knew that this moment would be a precious memory forever.

She smiled at me, the most beautiful smile I've ever seen, and I couldn't help but smile back.

•Malia: I can hardly believe this is happening.- I said, almost whispering, as if I were afraid of breaking the magic of the moment.

•Kylie: Me too.-she replied, caressing my cheek with her thumb.-But I'm very happy you said yes!

•Malia: How could I say no?-I provoked, giving her a slight push.-You're everything I've ever wanted, Kylieboo.

She laughed, and for a moment, we stayed there, in a world of our own. But, of course, like all good things, the moment had to end. The sun was setting, and the time for our perfect picnic was running out.

•Malia: I think we should go back.- I finally said, despite being reluctant to leave that little paradise.

Kylie nodded.

•Kylie: Yes, people must be wondering where we are. And...-she hesitated for a moment, a mischievous smile appearing on her lips.- I heard that there will be a party on the cruise tonight.

I arched an eyebrow.

•Malia: Party? On the cruise?

•Kylie: That's right. It looks like it's going to be epic. And now that we're officially girlfriends...-she shook my hand.-I think we should make a big entrance, don't you think?

•Malia: Of course, why not? It will be fun!

The party was in full swing when we reached the main deck. The music pulsated loudly, the lights flashed in several shades of neon, and the sound of laughter and lively conversations filled the air. It was one of those events where everyone seemed to be having fun-dancing, drinking, forgetting all the problems. Our group of friends waved to us from a corner, surrounded by a small crowd.

•Kylie: Shall we join them?

•Malia: Of course!!

When we got to our friends, Ruby opened a big smile.

•Ruby: There you are! I thought they would never show up!-she gave me a tight hug.- And congratulations, girls! I'm so happy for you!!

Joshua nodded, still dancing.

•Joshua: Yea, congratulations indeed! Finally, huh?

•Ask: Uhuuu, my casall!!

•Dara: I'm so happy for you, my girl.

•Morgan: I'm already preparing the gay wedding.-she joked

I felt my face blush, but smile.

•Malia: Thank you, guys! And thank you very much Josh and Ruby, for helping Kylie plan all this.

•Ruby: Oh, it was nothing! I'll do anything to see my sister happy!

Kylie leaned over to kiss my cheek, and my heart jumped for joy. The night was just beginning, and I felt that everything was going to be perfect.

But of course perfection never lasts forever.

I noticed an unpleasant presence in the corner of my eye and turned my head, my smile decreasing.
