Noeul took a steadying breath, adjusting the collar of his shirt as he stood in the expansive lobby of CKM Enterprises. The air was thick with the sterile scent of polished wood and freshly brewed coffee. Just standing there, beneath the cool lights and sleek decor, he felt small but determined. He'd heard CKM was a competitive place, a company that rewarded ambition and unflinching dedication, and he was ready to prove he had both.

Moments later, an assistant led him up to the top floor, where he was ushered into Boss's office. The door clicked shut behind him, the sound echoing in the silent, spacious room. Noeul found himself face to face with a man whose presence could've stilled even the loudest room. Sitting at a pristine black desk, Boss barely glanced up, his gaze cold and assessing. His aura was one of absolute authority, as if the world around him bent to his will.

Boss finally looking up, his eyes dark and piercing "You're here for the marketing position, correct?"

Noeul nodding, his tone steady "Yes, sir. I believe my experience aligns well with CKM's expectations."

Boss didn't respond immediately. He leaned back, watching Noeul in a way that felt more like an interrogation than an interview. The silence was intimidating, yet Noeul held his ground, his gaze unwavering.

Boss after a pause, a hint of a smirk "I don't have much need for another marketing employee."
The statement hung in the air, and Noeul's chest tightened. He'd expected a straightforward interview, and now this shift had thrown him off. Still, he didn't dare interrupt.
Boss coldly, his gaze sharp as he studied Noeul "But I do need someone capable. Someone who's adaptable and knows how to maintain... discretion. You strike me as the type who can handle that."

Noeul feeling a spark of hope but masking it with a composed expression "I'm prepared to fulfill whatever responsibilities the job requires, sir."

Boss leans forward, his tone unyielding "Being my secretary is a different level of commitment. It's not just emails, calls, or paperwork. Working under me demands loyalty, flexibility, and the ability to keep certain things—personal things—strictly confidential."

Noeul could feel the weight of those words, the way they carried a meaning that reached beyond the typical duties of a secretary. The sterile lighting above cast shadows across Boss's face, giving him a look that was almost predatory.

Boss unfazed by Noeul's hesitation "Let me make this clear. In my office, you'll handle tasks that won't appear in any job description. You'll follow my instructions without question, in matters both professional and... unprofessional. Is that understood?"

The words sent a chill down Noeul's spine. He fought to keep his expression neutral, realizing the kind of deal he was stepping into. Yet, despite the unspoken implications, something in him thrummed with a strange curiosity, an eagerness to test his limits.
Noeul his voice steady, though his mind raced "Understood, sir."

Boss leaned back, a trace of satisfaction in his gaze, as if he'd just secured another piece in his perfectly controlled life.
Boss tilting his head slightly, voice laced with a warning "You won't always enjoy the tasks I assign. But remember this—you accepted this role. I expect you to act accordingly."

Noeul swallowed, absorbing the finality in Boss's words. The faint sound of the clock ticking felt louder in the silence that followed. His heart hammered, but he managed to keep his demeanor calm.
Noeul "I'm committed to fulfilling my responsibilities, no matter the nature of the task."

Boss smirking slightly, satisfied with Noeul's resolve "Good. I'll give you what you want—a career worth talking about. Just remember, I'll expect the same in return."
With that, Boss shifted his gaze back to his computer screen, dismissing Noeul with an air that suggested he'd already moved on. Noeul turned to leave, a strange blend of excitement and dread brewing within him. Whatever he'd signed up for, it was bound to be more than he'd imagined.
