Anika Mehta 20 year old student gets married to her professor in unwanted way , shaurya malhotra 29 year old young professor was boyfriend of Anika's sister and professor.
After the vibrant college fest, Anika found solace in the comforting familiarity of Anaya's home, spending the night there. It felt good to escape for a moment, but as dawn broke the next day, she reluctantly returned home. The week that followed was a whirlwind of classes and preparations, as both she and Kritika-along with Shaurya-were focused on completing the syllabus before the upcoming wedding.
With her sister's wedding functions starting tomorrow, today marked Anika's last day at college for a while. She felt a mix of excitement and sadness, knowing she would miss the daily hustle and bustle of classes, especially seeing Shaurya, her professor, whom she was trying her best to avoid.
As she settled into her last lecture, the classroom buzzed with energy. Shaurya entered, greeted by the students with a chorus of "Good afternoon, sir!" He scanned the room and caught sight of Anika standing at the back with Anaya. His heart stirred a little; he couldn't help but glance her way during the lecture.
Despite his attempts to maintain a professional demeanor, Shaurya's thoughts kept drifting back to their moments at the fest. He missed her playful banter and the way her laughter lit up the room. However, today, Anika was unusually focused on her notes, seemingly intent on blocking him out.
Feeling a twinge of disappointment, Shaurya cleared his throat, hoping to engage her. "Miss Mehta, stand up," he called out.
Anika reluctantly stood, her expression serious.
"Tell me the theory related to aggregates that I explained in the last lecture," he prompted, wanting to hear her voice again.
Anika took a breath, her nerves evident, but then she answered confidently, reciting the explanation flawlessly. Shaurya was taken aback; he hadn't expected her to be so prepared.
"Good," he nodded, trying to mask his surprise, then added, "You can sit down."
As she sat back down, Anika felt a pang of sadness. It wasn't just about the class; it was about the strained relationship with her sister and how it affected her. She wished things were different, that she could freely express herself without the weight of family expectations hanging over her. Staying away from Shaurya seemed like a good strategy, but deep down, it was hard to ignore the connection they had.
The class progressed, wrapping up with discussions and questions, but Anika's mind was elsewhere. Once the final bell rang, she packed her things quickly, eager to leave the classroom and the bittersweet memories behind.
Anaya joined her as they walked home.
"Are you okay?" Anaya asked, sensing Anika's tension.
Anika forced a smile. "Yeah, just a little overwhelmed with everything."
"I get it. Tomorrow is going to be a big day," Anaya said, trying to lighten the mood.
They chatted about the wedding plans and the fun they would have, but Anika couldn't shake the feeling of loss regarding her relationship with her sister and the confusion about her feelings for Shaurya. As they reached home, she braced herself for the upcoming festivities, knowing it would require all her strength to keep her emotions in check during the celebrations.

I woke up in the morning to the sound of my mom and Chachi's voices, standing in front of me with a fake look of anger.
"Uth bhi ja, Shaurya, aaj tera sangeet hai," Chachi said. I didn't really want to stay home, but my mom, as always, worked her magic, making me do things I didn't really want to do - just like this marriage. With a sigh, I got out of bed, freshened up, and headed downstairs to help with the arrangements since all the functions were happening at our mansion, except for the wedding itself, which would take place at their house.
The days passed, with every detail of the decorations being checked over and over. Finally, it was night, and the sangeet ceremony had started. All the guests were beginning to arrive, and I went upstairs to get dressed. After all, it was my wedding, but to be honest, it still felt surreal.
Raj, Karan, and Anaya were also getting ready, discussing some theme-based outfits they'd planned - I had no clue what those kids were up to. I changed into my outfit and came downstairs, where my dadi did an aarti and placed a tilak on my forehead. By 6 p.m., the Mehta family was expected to arrive, as we had a Lakshmi puja scheduled before the elders would head off to a jagrata after the dancing.
After about half an hour, the Mehta family finally arrived, looking beautifully put together and like the perfect family - aunty, uncle, Kritika, and her brother mann . But my eyes were searching for... Anika. Why?
Just then, Kritika walked toward me with a smile, clearly fishing for a compliment.
"How am I looking, Mr. Husband?" she asked.
I gave her a brief glance. "Pretty... and it's 'would-be husband,'" I replied.
She looked a bit taken aback but quickly regained her smile, slipping her arm around mine. It was strange, being locked into this without a say, but I decided not to comment further and just moved along with her.
