Y/N'S POV-
Mabuchi-kun didnt come to school the past 2 days, I wonder what happened? Today is the day of the final, he can't miss that. The real question is that why do I even care? Ive been curious about him the first day he wasnt at school.
"Y/N-chan!" Makita-san calls.
I look over at her and smile, "Ohayo! Ready for finals?"
She nods her head, "Yeah! Futaba called me last night, she told me that she was really worried because she didnt study that much."
"She called me last night too, she asked for me to help her because she was only on chapter one on the book."
"Ohayooooo!!!" Futaba comes running to us unexpectedly with a smile on her face.
"O..hayo? I thought your worried about finals?"
"I finshed the book, i finished everything!" She says happily and jumps up and down like a little 5 year old
"In one night? How?"
"I slept at 5:00 a.m."
"What?! Arent you sleepy?!" Makita-san yells.
"No, I drank a 4 cups of 3 shot coffee, ate 3 protein bars, got thirsty again and drank 5 energy drinks. Then more coffee...this time 4 shot!"
"You are going to be dead by the end of the day."
We walk into the classroom, and the first person I looked for was Mabuchi-kun, and finally, he was there.
"Mabu-!"
Futaba suddenly pulls my arm and smashes me on the wall!
"What the hell?!" I yell in anger.
"Mabuchi-kun is here, what do we do? Hide? Ignore him? Hes going to ask you out!"
"He hasnt done that for the past two months...havent you ever thought...i dont know...maybe he changed?"
The two girls looked at me in shock, I too was shocked at what I said.
"I mean, he hasn't been flirting with me, he actually does seem guilty about what he did. Hes probably different know."
"No no no no no no! Your getting tricked! Thats what we all said, 'he changed!' But know, its his cycle all over again! Do not fall for him!" Futaba commanded.
"Slow down! Im not falling for him, all im saying is that hes different now. And i can prove it." I walk in the classroom with my two friends following behind me. I sit down at my usual seat, which was next to Mabuchi-kun.
I didn't know what to say to him, it was going to be awkward between us again, and its all because of that stupid fight.
"Mabuchi! Do you feel better now? Tanaka-sensei told me you had a high fever!" A guy screams from all the way across the room.
High fever?! It was from the rain wasnt it? Im such a bitch! I cant believe I let him run all the way to his house in the pouring rain. He gave me his umbrella, his shirt, everything he needed to get home, while my house was just right there. He didnt need to be that sorry! But...he was the one who ran away saying...sorry..
"S-sorry, for bothering you." Before I could say anything he runs away in the pouring rain with nothing to cover him.
I could tell he meant it, I saw the guilt in his sparkling black eyes. Why am I the one feeling guilty now? Maybe he is tricking me though...
Why do I keep telling myself that hes not sorry? I saw it with my eyes, hes sorry! Hes guilty for everything hes done.
"High Fever?! FINALLY KARMA FOR YOU MR. PLAYER." A girl yells out, and quickly, all the girls in our class start laughing at him screaming,
