"daddy." rory looks up from her dolls "where is the nice lady?" she asks furrowing her eyebrows before climbing up onto my lap.
"she is back at home, girlie. whys that?" i run my fingers through her curly blonde hair.
"dunno! heard a song and sounded like her." i smile softly.
"yeah silly shes a singer, she told you!" i tickle her stomach and she giggles.
"will she be back?" the truth is i dont think so but i dont have the guts to tell her that.
"im not sure rores, hopefully soon, right? now lets get you ready first bed." i kiss her nose before picking her up.
after putting her down for bed i get myself ready throwing on a white shirt and plait bottoms. as i climb into bed i get a call from someone who i wasnt expecting.
