Y/n moves silently through the shadows of the abandoned gallery, her gloved hand tracing the cold marble walls as she navigates the dimly lit space. She’s on a mission, one that could either give her the thing she needs or get her killed. Somewhere in this old building lies a hidden document she’s after, something that could unravel secrets and shift power—but she isn’t alone tonight.
Just as she reaches for a door handle, 𝐲/𝐧 senses a presence. It’s subtle, like a change in the air, but she knows better than to ignore instincts honed in dangerous circles. She tenses, glancing over her shoulder.
A figure emerges from the shadows, moving with predatory grace. The man’s features are half-hidden in the dim light, but his stance—commanding, confident—reveals he’s not someone to take lightly. He’s tall, clad in all black, and though she can’t fully see his face, the glint of dark eyes tells her he’s watching her closely, every inch a calculating predator.
“Breaking and entering?” His voice is smooth, cool, with a note of amusement that grates against her nerves. “Not the wisest choice in a place like this.”
𝐘/𝐧’s fingers tighten on the door handle, but she doesn’t turn to face him, keeping her posture unruffled. “I wasn’t aware this building was occupied,” she replies smoothly, her voice steady despite the pulse racing under her skin.
The man steps closer, and she catches a glimpse of him under a faint stream of moonlight—a face as striking as it is cold, with sharp, piercing eyes. She knows immediately who he is: Jeon Jungkook, the heir to the city’s most powerful crime syndicate. She’s heard his name whispered in dark corners, the way people speak of an urban legend brought to life.
“Consider yourself warned,” he says, his tone soft but carrying an unmistakable threat. “This isn’t a place for games.”
𝐘/𝐧 turns then, meeting his gaze head-on, her eyes holding a glint of defiance. “Who says I’m playing?”
A faint smirk tugs at his lips, as though he’s genuinely amused by her boldness. “Most people would run by now,” he murmurs, voice dropping to a near whisper. “You, however...”
She raises an eyebrow, refusing to let him see her unease. “I’m not ‘most people.’”
He spoke in a voice that sent shivers down her spine."what's your name? "
She leaned towards him "guess what? It's non of your business"
They stand in silence for a moment, locked in an unspoken standoff. She can feel the weight of his gaze, assessing, calculating. He’s trying to read her, to see if she’s a threat or just another obstacle. But she gives away nothing, keeping her expression carefully neutral.
“Then tell me what you’re doing here,” he says, taking a step closer, his gaze piercing. “And maybe I’ll let you walk out.”
Y/n’s lips curl into a faint smile, her tone light but edged with sarcasm. “Oh, how generous of you.”
He narrows his eyes, his smirk fading, replaced by something colder. “You think this is a joke?” His voice is low, dangerous, as though daring her to keep pushing.
She tilts her chin up, meeting his glare without flinching. “I think you should stop assuming you know anything about me.”
For a second, she thinks he might respond, but instead, he simply studies her, the smirk returning, albeit more calculated. “You’re not afraid,” he notes, almost like he’s filing away the information. “Interesting.”
Before she can reply, he steps back, hands casually slipping into his pockets. “We’ll meet again,” he says, his voice a dark promise. “And next time, we’ll see if that confidence holds.”
With that, he disappears back into the shadows, leaving Y/N alone in the quiet, her heart still racing. She knows she’s just made a powerful enemy—and maybe something more.
