Did I cross the line

Did I cross the line ,
Thinking that one day you'd actually be mine .
I'd see the love in your eyes
But they weren't looking at mine .

I'd watch u from afar,see how u shine .
See how you'd look at her ,
like she was worth more than pennies and dimes .

I would tell you how I feel ,but she's already won that race .
The way she ran was so much faster than my pace .
I feel us slowly drifting apart.
For I realised to late ,that you could have been mine from the very start .

And it really pains , pains like an arrow through the heart.
Seeing how happy she makes you ,
Seeing how she makes you laugh,
And seeing how she makes you smile .

I just wish I had the courage before,
To just tell you that you're the one I truly adore .
What am I still crying for ,
Being sad behind closed doors .

But I don't care about that anymore,it doesn't matter to me .

I just hope you love her ,and she loves you .
I've moved on so I no longer live my life in a blur.

And that ,that is one thing I know for sure .
