The drive that seemed like hours finally came to an end.
Russia stepped out of the car along with his siblings. He locked the car after everyone had come out, walking slowly behind Ukraine and Belarus while Kazakhstan spread his golden wings and flew over to meet his friends.
"Why do you think this meeting is so important?" Belarus could be heard asking Ukraine in front of Russia.
"Maybe because it's a World Meeting?" Ukraine answered quite sarcastically, as this was a pretty obvious thing.
"Yeah, I know, but this time, everyone is required to come, whether if you are sick or half dead," Belarus giggled a bit at her last line.
"Maybe it's because that American has something to say again," Russia butted in, obviously not very delighted with the fact that he had to waste his time hearing a capitalist pig ramble on about issues that he couldn't care less of.
"Honestly," Ukraine began, "What do you have with her? She's not that bad, plus, maybe it's time for you to find yourself a girlfriend," She taunted Russia.
Belarus laughed with Ukraine, "Ooooo, a girlfriend, Russia!"
All they received was a dangerous glare from Russia, who stepped into the elevator and closed it before any of them could get in, "Don't sweat on it, I'm gay," Russia said in a monotone voice, but really he was joking.
Ukraine and Belarus were too shocked to speak.
He's gay????"Russia is joking," Ukraine breathed.
"He has the ability to joke?" Belarus commented.
They laughed in unison, "And he has left us behind,"
"Yeah, no, he's definitely in love,"
...
Russia managed to keep a straight face while entering the meeting room; it was as big as he had remembered it, he scanned the room and found his seat next to China and North Korea, with America's seat directly opposite of them. Lucky. He thought sarcastically, at least the UN was in the middle, so he couldn't see that American anyway.
His mind began to wonder, what Ukraine and Belarus had said earlier about him being in love was absurd. For as long as he knew, he lost his ability to love when his father had died. And to even think about loving that American made him gag.
As more people arrived, the room seemed to fill up pretty quickly. No America. Oh well, that's a good thing.
"Hey, Russia, deep in thought, eh?" China suddenly appeared, taking a seat beside Russia. "Where's North? Is he not coming today? I thought this was an essential world meeting no country could miss?"
"Slow down, buddy," Russia said in his same, everyday monotone voice. "I think North got bugged by some mines," Russia continued.
"You can make jokes?" China said in a fake, surprised tone. "That's new."
"Give me a breather, won't you?"
...
North Korea stepped into the building, he hadn't been to meetings in a long time, not that he didn't want to, but because he was never invited, it was probably the American, but he didn't think the UN had anything against him, apart from how he treated his citizens. He 'tched' and stepped into the elevator, thinking of the worst.
"Ayy, North!" China said the moment North stepped into the building. "Long time no see! How's your country?"
North Korea just glared at China as if he was trying to give a hint to China to shut the hell up.
