See what I did there?
I said attention but in Italian, so yeah I've figured out the language I'm learning. Super proud of myself.Back to business.
Ok, so while I couldn't use my phone today,I realized when going through this book in my head that despite having said that this is a Nigerian romance book, I've been pretty vague about it. Like I haven't told you the state or town any of this is happening in and you wouldn't have been quite able to grab the setting.
It's amazing the ideas that click together in your brain when you are unable to access social media or anything at all. We have a specific president to thank for that.
I digress. The app I was writing this on prior, I wasn't sure how they'd accept a book like this for a contract because.. well we aren't the most beloved country are we?
So I forgot to add the changes when I began posting on here.
I have now though or I am going to.
I am going to add little tweaks and more insight on the previous chapters so you might want to review them.. And vote, if you haven't, while you're are it.But if you're lazy like I am and don't feel like doing that, I'll tell you the important changes I've made right here.
This book mainly takes place in Anambra. Because the whole idea of Christmas and holiday.. Yeah. And that should tell you the tribe most of the characters are.
I say most because fortunately for us, some of the uncles and aunties fell for the Yoruba demons so we have some variety✨
Wouldn't be as much fun if it was just one tribe now, would it?
Nothing like a bit of diversity to enhance a family's bond.
Also, most of the names are going to be switched to native ones except that of the male and female lead because we've come too far already with that.
Chris and his family live originally in Abuja but their family's village house is situated in Imo State which is pretty close to Anambra hence explaining how they got there so fast in chapter two.
Leilani and her family live in Lagos. I'm pointing this out because there a gonna be references to it to later on in the book and I might not necessarily use the name "Lagos".
There is going to be many more cousins in the book and before you get bothered about it later on, I'll tell you why now. It's because I intend on focusing more on Chris and Lani's relationship here on out and I might not necessarily include the family's history while I'm at it.
Christian's maternal grandfather was a very busy man. In bed, I mean. And he was also a polygamous one. Hence explaining the number of cousins. I do not think there's any need to dissect the family for now but when there is, I'll make sure to do that.
I'm sorry for the late update but I couldn't do this earlier because with the issue of light and all...
I digress. After the fifth chapter of this book, I'll begin posting on three specific days of the week only and not everyday as I used to.
Reason's because I have three other books to work on for contracts and I wouldn't want to mix up the emotions or the characters as I want this book to come out as perfectly as I've imagined it.
I'll let you guys know of the days I've chosen later on or you all could comment and decide for me.
If you'd want to get notified of when I post or anything, then add this book to your library and reading list.
Thank you so much for over two hundred views. It means a lot that you guys are actually reading this.
I'm sorry if I do not sound my usual chirpy self but I've had my full of Nigeria's shitty government today.
I may or may not take this down later but for now, please proceed and enjoy while you're at it.
Vote first though.
