ALISTER JONES HAD TRIED TO SPEAK TO HIS BROTHER. But, it appeared that Hook's attention was all focused on Jason. Which, Alister would have commented on, if he hadn't been feeling insanely guilty about keeping the secret about David hidden.

Jason paused, moving forward to get rid of the makeshift bed. He has only removed the blanket covering that mattered-which was more of a body pillow-when Hook suddenly spoke. "Need a hand love?"

Jason tilted his head, looking slightly amused. "With a body pillow?"

"Is that supposed to be a joke?" Emma asked hook at the same time.

Jaime moved to pick up the mattress, Hook quickly standing by his side. Once it has been removed, Emma examined it. "Whoa."

Along the wall, were markings. Tally markings.

"What is it?" David questioned.

"It appears Neal marked his days trapped on this island." Hook announced.

Emma jumped up in the rock, examining the lines.  She dragged her hand across the markings.

"What's wrong?" Mary asked, approaching.

"Look here. Neal stopped counting." Emma pointed to the markings that hadn't been completed. Inside five markings, there were two.

"Cause he got off the island," Mary says, hopeful.

"He was here longer."

"Then, why would he..." David begins to question.

"Because he lost hope." Emma answered.
