"welcome adriana sturniolo" jimmy fallon announced dramatically as she walked out onto the stage, waving at the screaming fans.
she sat down on the couch as jimmy smiled at her in greeting.
"it's so lovely to have you in the show again, it's been quite a while" jimmy began talking, his usual kindness clear in his tone.
she immediately smiled feeling comfortable "it's so good to be here again and yeah i think it's been around a year, maybe more" she replied.
"well i'm glad you could join us and before we start you look stunning today" he complimented appropriately. one thing adriana loved about his show is how he never made anyone feel uncomfortable and was simply lovely.
she looked down at the red set she was wearing as she adjusted it slightly "thank you".
"only just a couple of days ago, you released a new single is that right?"
"that is true" she agreed.
"get him back is already reaching top charts in the US and in the UK, how does that feel?" he asked as she laughed "it's honestly unbelievable, i'm still convinced this is all just a huge dream" she answered honestly.
"yeah i get that, you've produced a couple singles over the last years and each one has been received well by fans, must feel exciting." he spoke as she nodded along to his words.
"now something i think i have to do, is ask about the inspiration to the song" he questioned as she laughed awkwardly, thinking of how to answer the question.
"well it's quite obviously about one of my exes" she began as if it wasn't obvious who it was about "but the whole song is simply just like a double meaning of that i wanna get him back by revenge for how he hurt me but also i wanna get him back because i'm still not over him" she continued explaining the concept for the song.
"i personally really like how you've done that plus it makes for a really catchy song" he complimented as she laughed "thank you so much"
"now i think something everyone is wondering about is who is the song about?" he asked as she smiled cheekily.
"i'm sure the person knows it's about them" she simply replied, trying to swerve the question. jimmy laughed as he took that as his cue to move on to other questions.
"do you have any albums or anything planned for us?" he asked and she could almost hear the anticipation from the crowd for the answer.
she giggled as she thought about how to reply. "well i guess you will have to wait and see" she said with a wink towards the camera.
"not even a hint to when or what it will be about?" he prompted as she replied "only thing i can say is i've had a lot of inspiration lately"
after a couple more questions they proceeded to make conversation as they played games jimmy had lined up for them.
she revealed random fun facts about herself as they joked around and had a fun entertaining time for the viewers.
"well that's the end of tonight's show, everyone thank adriana sturniolo for joining us" he announced ending the show as the crowd filled with cheers and claps.
