1 ~ Game day

Makenna's POV,
as I was peacefully sleepy at 8:48 am I hear some big back stomps walking up my stairs...
Of course it has to be my brother Jake. He comes into my room and starts beating me with a pillow. "IM UP DAMN" I yell. After he said ok and left my room after he told me to get ready for him and Luke's basketball game. Although I really didn't wanna go my best friend Jamie was going so I can't let her you by herself right? Anyways I unbraided my hair which made it wavy so I did my skincare and makeup and got ready. I sat there putting on my Nike blue raspberry dunks with my light blue crop top, white puffer vest, Nike socks, lululemon white shorts, and a belt bag. As I was walking down the stairs I was already being scolded by my brothers, "HURRY UP KENNA" Luke yelled. It's like my brothers are never late even though they always are. We then left as I put my AirPods in listening to Treehouse by Alex G and Emily Yacina. I then felt tapping on my shoulder so I looked over to see Luke telling me to let's go. "My bad I'm coming jeez!" I whisper yelled at Luke. We headed inside to see people warming up and OMG THERES THIS BLONDE BOY WHO IS JUST SOOOO FINE. "Makenna Madison West let's go now" Jake said as he was getting aggravated I was just standing there looking at the curly headed blonde boy. Did I mention he was fine? Yeah I thought so.

Nelson's POV,
"Yo Jakey poo " I yelled running over to Jake. But as I run I start to slow down seeing the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. "Was good lil Nelly this is my sister Makenna"Jake said. I stuck my hand out to shake hers as we lock eyes Luke busted in though ruining the moment and jumped on my back telling me to take him to the court. "Luke I never knew you had a sister let alone a baddie one" I said practically yelling. "Bro pop off I never realized you didn't know I mean you've been to our house but I guess she does stay in her room a lot" Luke explains as he jumps off of my back. I walk back over to the blue eyed girl and said, "Hi I'm Nelson". She smiled and said, "I'm Makenna nice to meet you you're also pretty good at basketball I must say!".
I blushed and turned my head so she couldn't see after I said thank you I headed back to warm up.

Makenna's POV,

I look around trying to find Jamie but she's nowhere to be found.

My jaw dropped as I looked at her location seeing she was indeed NOT at the hospital but instead she was at the meanest girl in schools house. "WHAT THE FREAK" I said to myself out loud but I think Jake heard me because he started staring at me. "What now?" Jake asked as he let out a big sigh. "JAMIE IS AT FAITHS HOUSE AND TOLD ME SHE WAS AT THE HOSPITAL!" I started to tear up as a ran to the bathroom Jake tried to chase me but he knew it was no use. I texted Jake in the bathroom.

Obviously I didn't listen to Jake I walked out of the bathroom still crying and I saw Luke looking for me so I run for it out the door. My mom and dad weren't home because there on a business trip. After walking home I unlock toe door run to my room and scream in my pillow, "WHY WOULD SHE LIE TO ME SHE WAS MY BEST FRIEND AND I TRUSTED HER". After that it was only about 12:30 in the afternoon so I cried myself to sleep. About and hour or 2 later I hear the front door open so I roll out of bed to my vanity and take of the mascara that was running down my face. I hear footsteps coming up the stairs so I would expect it would be one of my brothers but as soon as the door opens I was in utter shock... and there he is. Nelson Neumann. Standing at MY bedroom door. "Hey are you alright I saw you run out and I felt bad. Jake told me what happened and you shouldn't be lied to like that. But I wanted to know you were alright and just to let you know I'm staying here for a week" he said warmfully. "Yeah I'm alright and ok I'll see you later." I said after he said goodbye he walked out of the room closing my door. I jumped on my bed to lay down as I melt into the bed all I can think about is Nelson Neumann.
At about 7:37 I went downstairs to get a snack as Nelson was sitting on the couch playing 2K with Luke and Jake. They all smile at me as I smile back, I got my snack went back upstairs and fell asleep.
