Waiting on a Miracle

Blue was exhausted from the recent mission with Dream. At the moment, Ink was on a little vacation in another multiverse, chatting with old friends. Which left Blue and Dream to the casual missions of the Star Sanses.

This mission was fighting a horrific monster and protecting  an obscure AU. When the mission was over the "team" was congratulated. By team, I of course mean the monsters in the AU just wanted to crowd Dream with positivity. Dream thanked them all and was trying to find Blue to talk, since Blue looked really upset.

As Blue was walking off to the access point, a bunny monster spotted him and walked up to him.

Bunny: Hey, no hard feelings, right, Blue Papyrus? *Laughs*

Blue: Excuse me?

Bunny: Did you really think Dream chose you for something great? You're only there to make the team a trio so Ink and Dream can look good in front of the Multiverse.

Blue: N-no! I'm a part of the team! I am the Mighty, Magnificent Sans!

Bunny: Oh please, just wait till you die. They always replace the dead Swap Sanses.

This made Blue feel worse. Blue ran away from the monster and back to access point, taking him to his home. He quickly rushes to a small, secluded place in Waterfall and sat on the bench. That's when he heard a voice.

Dream: Blue? Are you... Okay? You left in such a hurry.

Blue: Yeah. I'm fine, just... I wanna be alone right now.

Dream looked at Blue and walked up to him.

Dream: You know you can tell me anything, right?

Blue: Later. I'm not in a talking mood right now.

Dream: ... Ok. Well, call me when you need me, Blue. 

Blue: Yeah, sure.

Dream left, and now Blue was alone. Blue looked at the water and his reflection staring back at him. He saw a Sans, not a Papyrus.

Blue: Blue Papyrus. Feh. Whatever.

???: Another name being called? I think history is repeating.

Blue was swift and summoned his Gaster Blaster hammer and aimed it at the voice behind him. Revealing to be the king himself, Nightmare.

Blue: What do you want?

Nightmare: Well, you looked like you were down, so I came to offer a deal.

Blue: Not interested.

Nightmare: ... I know you have anger building up inside you. From the names, to the verbal abuse, to... Dream and Ink doing nothing to stop them? Trust me, Blue, I know how you feel.

Blue was hesitant, but eventually put away his hammer.

Blue: Right, you're story. ... I... *Sighs* What do you want?

Nightmare: Oh, I want nothing out of this. But you want to unleash that anger inside, I just know it! So, here's the deal.

Nightmare pulls out a spell book and flips to a spell so Blue can see.

Nightmare: I will give you 24 hours to unleash that bottled up anger, and your resentment. Everyone hates me, so... With my body, you can get away with anything.

Blue: Wait, a body swap? With you?

Nightmare: Did I stutter?

Blue thought long and hard about this. He realized how much he did hate being underestimated and Dream doing nothing to help. Just like Nightmare.

Blue: Ok. Let's do it!

Nightmare begins the spell and switch commences. Blue looked at his hands in awe.

Blue (Nightmare): And, there you are. A successful swap between friends.

Nightmare (Blue): Huh? Friends? But...

Blue (Nightmare): The enemy of my enemy is a friend.

Nightmare (Blue): But... Dream isn't...

Nightmare ignored Blue and hands him a sheet of paper.

Blue (Nightmare): Right! Anyway, here is the AU I set up for people who want to unleash their anger and... Cause a little destruction.

Blue looks at the paper and makes a portal there. 

Nightmare (Blue): Well, I guess I'll see you in 24 hours.

Nightmare watched as Blue left and walks back to Blue's house.

Blue (Nightmare): Hmm. I love it when people just... Let it out. And Blue... He's strong. Too underestimated, too... *Groans* Maybe... When the day is over... I could offer him a spot in the Bad Sanses. Oh well, we'll just have to wait and see.
