Episode 22

Mrinal's eyes sparkles as he took Meena's hand, leading her to his home, a breathtaking mansion that shone like a gem under the evening sky.
As they entered the grand mansion, Meena's eyes widened in awe. After a delightful dinner, Suri uncle showed her the guest room from afar and retired to his own quarters. Exhausted, Meena mistakenly assumed Mrinal's room was the guest room, given their proximity. She settled into the plush bed, feeling the softness envelop her.
Just as she closed her eyes, Mrinal appeared in the doorway, his lean figure framed by the soft glow of the room. "Is the bed comfortable?" he asked, his voice low and husky, a hint of amusement dancing in his eyes.
Meena's heart skipped a beat as she sat up, her cheeks flushing. "You're here?" she exclaimed, her voice tinged with surprise.
Mrinal chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Where else should I go? This is my room, after all." He smirked, his lips curling upward.
Meena's face grew hotter as she realized her mistake. "But uncle showed it as the guest room!" she protested.
Mrinal laughed, his eyes sparkling. "The room next to this is the guest room, not this one." He took a step closer, his voice filled with warmth. "You're already here, so why don't you stay with me tonight?"
Meena's pulse quickened as she hesitated, her mind racing. "But..."
Mrinal's eyes locked onto hers, his gaze tender. "I swear I won't disturb your sleep. I missed you terribly, Meena. I just want you beside me tonight." His voice cracked with emotion, his hands reaching out to hers.
Meena's resolve melted at the sincerity in his eyes. "Ohho, my man missed me that much, huh?" she teased, her voice barely above a whisper.
Mrinal's face softened, his fingers intertwining with hers. "What if uncle sees us?" Meena asked, her concern still evident.
Mrinal's expression turned reassuring. "Don't worry, he's aware of our relationship. Besides, we're adults, and we know what we're doing." He pulled her close, his breath whispering against her ear. "I promise, just sleep. I need you near me."
Meena's heart swayed to his gentle persuasion. She nodded, her voice barely audible. "Okay."
As they settled into the bed together, Meena felt Mrinal's warmth envelop her, his steady heartbeat a lullaby.
As they drifted off to sleep, Meena's thoughts wandered to the moments they shared, her heart overflowing with gratitude. She felt Mrinal's gentle stirrings, his arms tightening around her.
"Thank you for staying with me," Mrinal whispered, his breath tickling her ear.
Meena smiled, her eyes closed. "I wouldn't want to be anywhere else."
The night air was filled with the soft hum of crickets outside, and the gentle rise and fall of their synchronized breathing. Time stood still as they savored each other's presence.
Hours passed, and the first light of dawn crept through the windows. Meena stirred, her eyes fluttering open to find Mrinal's gaze locked onto hers.
"Good morning," he whispered, his voice husky.
"Good morning," Meena replied, her voice barely above a whisper.
Mrinal's lips brushed against hers, a soft, gentle kiss. "I love you."
"I love you too," Meena whispered back.
As the morning sun cast its warmth upon them, Meena knew this moment, wrapped in Mrinal's arms, was where she belonged – surrounded by love, comfort, and the promise of forever.
Just as they were basking in the warmth of their love, the sound of their parents' voices drifted through the hallway, shattering the tranquility. Meena's eyes widened in alarm as she clutched Mrinal's arm. "What do we do now? What if they see us together?"
Mrinal's expression turned calm, his eyes sparkling with quick thinking. "Don't worry, I've got this."
Without hesitation, he strode to the balcony and effortlessly jumped onto the adjacent balcony of the guest room. Meena watched, amazed by his agility.
Meanwhile, Meena swiftly composed herself, smoothing her hair and clothes. She took a deep breath, trying to appear nonchalant.
As their parents approached, Meena and Mrinal emerged from their respective rooms, feigning innocence. Suri uncle raised an eyebrow. "Mrinal, why did you sleep in the guest room?"
Meena's father, chimed in with a mischievous grin. "Maybe my daughter wanted to sleep in his room, huh?"
Meena's face flushed crimson as she protested, "No, no, nothing like that!" Mrinal echoed her denial in perfect synchrony.
Their parents exchanged knowing glances, teasing them mercilessly. "Oh, come on, kids! You're not fooling anyone!" Suri uncle chuckled.
Meena and Mrinal's embarrassment deepened, their faces burning with embarrassment. They exchanged sheepish glances, unable to meet their parents' playful gazes.
The tension dissipated as their parents burst into laughter, the atmosphere filling with warmth and amusement. Meena and Mrinal couldn't help but join in, their embarrassment giving way to relieved smiles.
As their parents' laughter filled the hallway, Meena's eyes met Mrinal's, and they exchanged a tender glance. Amidst the chaos, they found a moment of tranquility.
Mrinal's gaze held hers, his eyes speaking volumes of love and reassurance. Meena's heart skipped a beat as he discreetly reached for her hand, his fingers intertwining with hers.
Their parents, oblivious to the subtle gesture, continued teasing them. But Meena and Mrinal didn't notice, lost in their own world.
As they stood together, hands entwined, Meena felt Mrinal's warmth spread through her. His touch ignited a flutter in her chest, and she knew this moment, chaotic as it was, was perfect.
Mrinal leaned in, his voice barely audible over the laughter. "I love you, Meena."
Meena's lips curled into a smile. "I love you too," she whispered back.
Their parents' voices faded into the background as they shared a soft, fleeting kiss. The world around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, lost in their love.
Suri uncle's chuckle broke the spell. "Alright, alright! We won't tease you anymore."
Meena's face flushed, but Mrinal's reassuring squeeze calmed her. They turned to face their parents, hands still clasped together.
Meena's Dad smiled warmly. "We're happy for you both. You make each other happy, and that's all that matters."
The tension dissipated, replaced by warmth and understanding. Meena and Mrinal exchanged grateful glances, knowing their love had found acceptance.
