       "What is it Cat?" Magnus said looking back at Cathrina who was still on the edge of the bed. "Magnus I... I..." Cathrina started but stopped to look up at Magnus who was still lying in the bed. Alec looked at Magnus who was still confused so he ended her sentence. "Pregnant." "How the hell do you know all this?" Cat said in a worried voice. "Purks of having a detective as a friend more like a dad." Alec looked at Magnus who was in tears? "Hey, what's wrong?" Alec moved his hand to Magnus's cheek cupping it.

"Cat why did you not tell me I will always accept you," Magnus said but held on to his side a bit gasping for air! Alec grabbed
the oxygen mask and put it on Magnus for him to breathe better. But Magnus was still having trouble breathing so Alec hit the nurse button to make sure that Magnus was okay. "Hey you're ok just breathe Mags," Alec said looking at Cathrina who was adjusting something on the machine next to Magnus. Cat hit a button which made Magnus go back to his regular breathing pattern.

   "How did you do that?" Alec looked at Cat who was pleased with herself. "I am in a doctorate program I know what I am doing," Cat said looking at Magnus who was halfway asleep. "Hey go to sleep, Magnus you need rest," Cathrina said kissing Magnus on the forehead and allowing him to drift to sleep. "Thank you," Alec said looking at Cat who was confused. "Why?" she asked seeing Magnus asleep. "For actually caring for him and not wanting to hurt him." Alec knew that Magnus did not have a lot of people who loved him.

"Hey he has you too," Cat said looking at Alec who had his hands linked with Magnus. "Do you know anything about Magnus's past?" Alec asked knowing that Cat was probably an old friend of Magnus's. "Yeah, I do," Cat started.

12 years old.

"Magnus that's cheating!" Cat yelled seeing Magnus take the ball from her. "You're just small." Magnus laughed falling to the ground. "Magnus, are you ok?" Cat said seeing Magnus wince in pain. "Yeah, I'm fine," Magnus said holding his arm a bit tighter. "Can I see?" Cat asked. "NO, I TOLD YOU I AM FINE!" Magnus said holding his arm and standing up. "I need to go home I will see you tomorrow.

16 years old

"Magnus!" Cat said seeing Magnus in the rain with bruises down his neck. "He..y C..at." Magnus shivered from the cold. Cat took off her coat and Magnus wrapped up in it. "Do you want to go to my place?" Cat asked seeing that Magnus would catch a cold if he didn't. Magnus just nodded not wanting to speak. They made it to Cat's apartment and sat down on the couch. Cat stood up to grab the first ad kit for Magnus seeing his neck start to bleed. Cat started to rap his neck a bit to stop the bleeding. "Talk," Cat said making sure Magnus would talk. "It was this morning..."

A couple of hours Ago

"Dad, I'm home" Magnus yelled in a happy mood. But once Magnus saw his father his mood changed to concern. Asmodeus was drunk and had a beer in his hand still. "What are you staring at child?!" Asmodeus yelled taking a sip of alcohol. "Nothing I will be in my room." Magnus made it almost past Asmodeus until he was stopped by a hand on his neck squeezing. "Oww fuck dad!" Magnus said trying to get out of Asmodeus's grasp. Magnus stayed like that for a bit until he felt him loosen a bit then ran out of the house.

End of flashback

Alec felt Magnus squeeze his hand a bit not knowing that he was awake. "Thanks, Cat for telling him," Magnus said in a yawn. "Of course, I will leave you two alone. "Oh and also Cat?" Magnus started looking at Cat who turned around, "who's is it?" "It's Will's" Cat said then left. "Who's will?" Alec asked seeing Magnus in shock. "His Tessa died and Cat always had a crush on him," Magnus said.
