MONTAGE OF NEWS REPORTS 

Footage from various networks flashes across the screen, each news channel showing scenes of devastation and conflict. 

CUT TO: 

NEWS REPORTER 1 
(VO, shaky footage) 
"—damage estimates have climbed into the billions after Iron Man's standoff against Wong-Chu in the heart of Stark Tower—"

The screen shows IRON MAN (Tony Stark) blasting WONG-CHU away from Stark Tower. Massive beams fall from the building, smashing cars on the streets below. Civilians run for cover as smoke fills the air. 

CUT TO: 

NEWS REPORTER 2 
(VO) 
"...now confirmed to be a gamma-enhanced skirmish in Harlem. Authorities say the confrontation between the Hulk and a gamma-mutated figure known as Flux—"

HULK (Bruce Banner) grapples with FLUX, their sheer size and strength sending shockwaves through the streets of Harlem. Storefronts shatter, concrete buckles, and fire hydrants explode. Civilians huddle together in the doorways, terror etched on their faces. 

NEWS REPORTER 3 
(VO) 
"The scale of destruction here in this once-sleepy New Mexico town has been... unimaginable."

THOR battles THE DESTROYER in a dusty town. The metallic creature fires beams that slice through cars, igniting fires and turning buildings to rubble. We see small groups of people hiding, watching the carnage in horror.

CUT TO: 

Images of New York's skyline, once pristine, now scattered with broken windows and scorched facades. A different news anchor, serious, with furrowed brows, addresses the camera.

NEWS ANCHOR 
"This isn't just the cost of heroism—it's a bill that ordinary people are paying. In lives disrupted, in homes lost, and in cities shattered. And as the battles continue, many are left wondering... who will pick up the pieces?" 

More clips show civilians walking through smoke and debris. A small girl clutches her mother's hand, looking back at the ruins of what was once her neighborhood. 

CUT TO: 

REPORTER (ON-SCREEN) 
"...and the question on everyone's mind: When will the damage end, and who will help rebuild?" 

A ticker below the news screen shows: ESTIMATED DAMAGE COSTS - $8.6 BILLION and climbing.

Brief clips: Rescue workers clearing debris, families salvaging what they can from destroyed homes, and civilians crowded into shelters. These scenes contrast starkly with billboards showing bright images of heroes like Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor.

REPORTER (VO) 
"Despite their intentions, these heroes have left a wake of destruction. Lives have been changed. Neighborhoods devastated. And the city waits... hoping for a solution."

TRANSITION: 

The sound of crackling fades out as the screen dims. Slowly, we fade back in, shifting to a new scene: a devastated New York street. Debris lines the sidewalks, and smoke rises from destroyed buildings.
