we had finished the case and were heading back home “Spencer your still coming to the lecture right” Rossi asks “yeah tomorrow at the local university and 10 am” I recall “yes see you there” he walks off to his car “Hey Rossi” Ellie shout he turns around “mind if I tag along I want to see Spencer in his element” he laughs “sure” she turns to me and takes my hand “come on fiancée” she drags me to the car. “The ring looks perfect on you” she smiles “so when do you think we should have the wedding?” I ask her “I dunno sometime soon I hate waiting oh you mom is going to be there right I wouldn’t be the same without her” shook my head
“So a spring wedding and we’re at the end of March so...” she was looking at her phone “start of May? Possibly how are we going to plan a wedding with our work schedule infant anything we both work demanding jobs” she huffs I take her hand “we’ll figure something out” I squeeze her hand “yes Spencer because the BAU loves to be flexible” I shake my head
We were sat on the couch at home “Spencer?” she questions “yes love” she looks at me “do you ever think about having little geniuses” she wonders “not at the moment no. Why?” she shrugs “well I don’t know it’s just I’ve wanted to be a profiler my whole life what happens if and when have a little Reid I don’t want to quit the BAU I don’t think you want to either” she sighed “know what just pretend I never mentioned it.” She went back to watching it
I switched off the TV “Ellie it could be years until we have a baby but no matter what happens I will always be here and there are other jobs for both of us” she bites her lip “yeah at least I had a chance to work at the BAU” Ellie leaned her head on my shoulder “come on lets go to be we have to be up early if we want to arrive on time for tomorrow” she nodded and we went to bed.

It was 10 am and I was sitting at the side as Rossi and Spencer made and appearance “quiet please. Today you are learning about another section of the FBI here to talk more about it we have Supervisory Special Agent Rossi with his fellow college Dr Reid” the woman announces and everyone claps.
“Hello as Miss Ramer says I’m Agent Rossi and this is Dr Reid we are also joined by the lovely Agent Peirce.” I stand and wave before sitting back down “There are different divisions at the BAU. We work at the BAU. The Behavioural Analysis Unit...” I forgot how boring lectures can be. I zoned out and doodle I looked round I saw a kid texting then laughing silently.
I stood up “sorry Spencer” he stopped talking “hello” I smiled sweetly at the kid “phone now” I held out my hand he passed it to me I read through them “when I Rossi going to talk again. This dude can’t be for real” I click my tongue “Dr Reid Agent Rossi I do believe we have a real live subject to explain your thesis” I look around and text boo another kids jolts “you too” I point “please continue on your lab rats” I smile “well you know me better than anyone” I touch his shoulder “together you take a I’ll take b”
I went and stood over to the second kid “so what’s your names” I ask “Alex Roche” a says “Matthew Long” b says. Spencer starts going through a scenario “so the question is from our point of view what do you think were the main causes for Mattie and Lex to start killing” I ask “maybe they’re trying to satisfy some sexual desire” one said “good very good but not quite right” I praise “what about compensating for something” another one says “ding ding ding we have a winner the un sub versions of Lex and Mattie can’t get up brilliant thank you.” They were about to leave “that people is why should never mess with the Doctor.” I went back to my seat I looked too Rossi who was smiling.
Back at the BAU I sat down at my seat “how was the lecture” Hotch asked “well it’s safe to say Ellie is rubbing off on Reid” Rossi tells him “how so” he questions “two idiots were texting during his part of the lecture how dull he was blah blah blah so I suggested a ...” trying to find the right word “real life demonstration” Spencer adds “thank you baby what he said” I pecked his cheek “long story short they had the two lads in front of everyone saying the reason they were killing because they couldn’t get up” Rossi finished “wasn’t my fault I’m protective of my fiancée” I pout the others just laugh
Trying to plan a wedding is stressful so I decided to see the second most talented to my boy wonder “knock knock” I smile as I walk in “hey chica” Garcia smiles “hello my Tech goddess” I sit down next to her “ what can I do for you” she asks “well I have and out of work mission for you” I look at her sneakily “oooh really pray tell” she comes closer “so first of this cannot be done on FBI computers and only when you are not helping us but I need help with the wedding” her face lights up “you want me to help” she claps her hand “yes I need you to find the top three for everything on this list the give it to me think you can do that” I hand her a piece of paper she nods
“I got it on my time and computer I won’t let you down” she shoos me out of the door “promise” I hold out my pinkie she takes it with hers “I promise and I swear” I hug her then leave. Morgan was teasing Spencer about something in the coffee area “ah she returns” Morgan cheers “where were you?” he asks “need to know and you don’t need to know” I counter he feigns a slap “alright my bad my bad.” He goes back to his desk “where were you?” Spencer asks me “I was getting some wedding help from the tech girl version of you”I answered“how Garcia is going to help” he questions
“well I’ve ask her to pick the top three from everything she finds on the list I gave her but its and out of hours job” I reply “okay so I’m going to call the step brother” I sigh and dial my step brother ...Jazz
“Why hello my dear little sister” Jazz says with a thick Texas accent “hello my dear Jazzy” I chirp “you’re lucky I love you because no one else is allowed to call me that” I giggle “I know. Guess what?” I say “what?” he asks “your favourite little sister is...getting married” I cheer “there was yaying in the background “finally scored yourself a man you do know I will have to have their brother talk with him” he jokes “ha-ha only you can have the talk with him no one else oh and you can let our beloved parents about the wedding”
“okay so I will fly down for Saturday so I can meet your man and give him the break her heart and I break you face talk” I laugh making my way over to him “okay see you then” we said our good byes and hung up “I though you didn’t like your step family” Spencer looks confused “no its only my step father he’s a pompous twat thinks everyone is higher than him” I scrunch my face in distaste “but I get along well with my Step brother he’s more like a brother anyway he want to give you the talk” he nods “most alpha males who are protective of the other gender like a sister figure feel the need to make it clear to someone who is taking their role for them to be aware of what they will do if there SISTER is hurt”
I spent the rest of the day doing paperwork when I got a phone call “hello” I answered without the caller id “Eleanor dear it’s you mother” I rolled my eyes “yes mother what can I do for you?” I ask leaning back in my chair “your brother came home this afternoon and told us you were getting married I never knew you were dating” she states “well I was for year now we’re engaged problem” I rub my temple “the point is dear is that I’m your mom I should know about these things first hand” I sigh “no mom you were less of a mother when you turned into the very thing you used to complain about”
“I did not complain Eleanor.” Okay that was it “what’s that Spence oh yes be there in minute. Got to go bye” I hung up “what was that about” JJ asked sitting on my desk “annoying mother” I grunt “bad relationship?” I nodded “it wasn’t always like that only after she remarried and asshole with an awesome son” I inform her “ah”
Spencer comes to get me for the journey back home. This was going to be stressful
