"Hey." Y/N spoke softly not to startle me.
I appreciate that from her.
"Hey little lady. You checking in on me?" I smiled at her, and she kissed my cheek as she bent down to give me a small hug.
"Mm.. I needed to get out of that house." She smirked at me, and I pretended to be shocked at her reason for visiting.
"You love it there, don't you?" I teased her, and she let out a whiney hum as she carefully got in bed next to me.
I need to limit movement for a little while due to the burns, but they are healing well. Luckily I don't need any skin grafts.
She faced me and I wrapped my arms around her, kissing her nose, and she let out a giggle.
"Do you still like me, even though I'm scarred?" I asked her quietly, and she seemed dismissive of my worries, instead nuzzling into my chest and letting out a sigh.
"You're my number one. Regardless of how you look. I fall for personalities. You are perfect." She retorts, and I pull her chin up to look in her eyes.
"You can always count on me." I reassured her, as I can see in her eyes how scared she really is about everything.
"I know. Thank you." She pecked me on the lips, and while we went in for seconds, my door suddenly opened, prompting a panicked Y/N to roll off the bed to not be seen.
"Learn to fucking knock!" I shot at the doorway, and a confused Jeongin looked back at me.
His expression made me diffuse instantly.
"Where's Chan.. Y/N?" He asked her directly, and she was silent for a few seconds.
I shuffled in bed to face her, and she looked unsure of what to say.
She then shook herself and let out a sigh.
"He's been arrested. My orders to the Captain." She spoke coldly, and I widened my eyes at Jeongin.
"Your orders?" I gasped, and she nodded.
"I'll go into detail another time. I need to go." She hurried out of the room, and I sat with my jaw to the floor.
As she left, Jeongin sat down at the edge of the bed.
"She's an honest girl. She wouldn't lie. Her orders? Is Chan gone? Forever? Is she our new boss?" Jeongin collects his thoughts in the open, and I just sat there quietly.
I can't believe she's actually done it.
I'm so proud of her.
But.. Chan.
He's our leader.
It surely can't end like this?
