Nineteen years.

Nineteen years since on that same date her little Weisz, now a young man, gave his first cry to life.
Irma, as soon as she woke up, put on her dressing gown and approached her son's room, seeing it closed. She deduced that he was still sleeping, so she didn't disturb him but going downstairs she saw Hermit in the living room sitting on the sofa closing a package.

"Good morning, Hermit."

"Oh" the blue girl turned to her "Good morning Irma! I hope I didn't wake you!"

"No, don't worry" the woman approached and sat down next to her "A gift for the birthday boy?"

"Yes" the blue girl giggled while she put the package away "I got him something he needed for work."

"Those are always the best gifts," Irma sighed as she stretched out on the couch more comfortably, "Nineteen years... they literally went by in a flash, I can't believe it."

Hermit looked at her fondly before the woman returned his gaze, "Do you want to help me with a little surprise?" The blonde woman asked, and the robot nodded, immediately understanding where she was going with this.

And so the two women had already prepared for the little party early in the morning. In the kitchen, Irma had kneaded a homemade cake, like the one for her eighteenth birthday the year before, simple but prepared with all the love of a mother. She had added some colorful decorations and, on top, a candle with the number nineteen. Hermit, in the meantime, had decorated the living room with small lights and some balloons, creating a warm and festive yet humble atmosphere.

"Thanks for your help, Hermit," the woman said, as she arranged the last detail on the table. "I don't know what I would have done without you."

"It was my pleasure," the blue one replied, before the blonde woman replied with "Now go wake him up so we can have breakfast."
When everything was ready to go, the blue one went to the door and entered, holding back a smile as she approached her boyfriend who was still completely asleep. "Hey, Hey Weisz." She shook him lightly, caressing his face, with a groan from the blonde.

"You have to come downstairs for a moment," the robot shook him again, this time with a more serious but still sweet tone. "Come on, wake up."

From the other one she only received a sleepy grunt. "Just a moment and I'll come down," she replied, her voice still thick with sleep.

The blue one shook her head, patiently. "Okay, but try not to make us wait too long!" She finished, walking away from the bedroom and leaving the door ajar. After a few minutes, Weisz finally came downstairs, a little annoyed at being interrupted from his sleep. But as soon as he crossed the threshold of the living room, he stopped, surprised. The room was decorated with soft lights and balloons hanging. In the center of the table was the cake with the lit candle, and next to it Irma and Hermit were looking at him with an affectionate smile.

"Surprise!" they exclaimed together, moving their hands slightly to the sides of their hips.

The boy was speechless for a moment. He ran a hand through his hair, trying to hide his embarrassment, but his eyes clearly showed how touched he was by the gesture. "Girls, you shouldn't have... really," he murmured, shocked and a little blushing.

His mother came over and gave him a big hug, like so many she had wanted to give him over the years "Of course we had to. It's your birthday, and it always has to be celebrated in some way!"
