What my message is, is that I'm trying to say if we even out the amount of strong male and female representation, young men and boys wouldn't need to turn to an online world of hatred and toxicity. Figures like Andrew Tate would diminish quite quickly as if there were positive male role models, Andrew Tate would be irrelevant. Feminism isn't for the rights of women, it's for the rights of everyone. Being a feminist doesn't mean you support women being to the top, it's about supporting everyone getting to the top. It's about evening out things so that men and women are seen and treated equally, both young boys and girls have ambitious aspirations, not just supporting women for these things because these things have historically only been available for men.
There are good intentions in supporting only women as they have faced barriers for so long, but in the long-term, it will only just push men downwards, leading to a cycle of sexism.
