Chapter Nine : Hyunjin's POV

Minho got up from the table suddenly, grabbing everyone's attention.

"Where are you going?" Hyunjin asked.

He knew that if Minho was forced to be with Jisu for more than he wanted to, he would find a way to escape. Even though Felix would have never let that happen. He would still try.

"I'm going to buy lunch at the Cafe."

"But your lunch bag is right there." Felix pointed out.

He glanced at the lunch bag in front of his friend. It was a black cloth bag and to Hyunjin it looked pretty full.

Minho had already slightly stepped away from the table but Hyunjin had not believed his story yet. And judging by the looks the others were giving the boy, neither did they.

"It's just the food I didn't want from Friday." Minho grabbed the lunch bag and stuffed it back into his schoolbag. "I forgot to put anything new in it."

He was lying.

Hyunjin could tell by Felix's face. He always knew when his brother wasn't telling the truth, but most times he didn't say anything in front of other people to not call him out.

Right then, Felix's face said it all as he stared at his brother from across the table. The squint in his eyes and the tight line he pushed his lips into told Hyunjin that Felix knew something wasn't right.

There was something more to the picture and Hyunjin wanted to find out what.

When Minho started to walk away he sprang into action.

"I'll go with you." He declared.

He was up and out of his seat before Minho could even realize what was happening.

The boy's head shot in his direction and gave him a look that only made him more curious about what was going on.

"What? Why?"

Now he had to follow him.

Why was he so annoyed that he wanted to go with him? They went to the cafe all the time and he never had a problem before.

Why was this time different? And why did he have a feeling it had something to do with the boy without anything to eat.

"I need a drink, now start moving."

He grabbed a hold of his shoulder and turned him in the direction the cafe was in.

Not even five feet away Minho sighed, "you can just tell me what you want and I'll bring it back for you."

Hyunjin took his arm off Minho's shoulder. "No, I need to take a walk anyway, I'll just come with you," he looked beside him and saw the tight lipped expression on his face. "Why are you acting so weird about me coming with you?"

Minho glanced at him as he walked.

"I'm not."

"But you are."

Minho rolled his eyes, something Hyunjin was used to him doing when he was flustered. In an attempt to change the topic but still investigate what was going on, he indirectly asked about Jisu.

"How's your project going for our Business Partner class?"

"Fine."

Hyunjin looked over to the other, who had his stare forward, not even trying to engage in the conversation.
