The bell located above Nook's Lounge door chimed as Heaven maneuvered through the area.

A tray full of snacks rest in her hand as she swiftly weaved through awaiting customers.

Giving a warming smile to the patrons, she gave her new cashiers a thumbs to letting them know they were handling the rush well.

It wasn't nothing like a holiday rush, a Christmas rush to be exact.

Nook's lounge not only housed all the latest books, music, and dvd movies, but good southern food as well.

They were the only book store located midtown with flavor—that's courtesy of Jenkins Hendricks, Heaven Hendricks grand father.

Jenkins was once a poet, he was a philosopher in reading—when it came to a book he could tell you all about it with no hesitation or stammering.

Jenkins went on to retire from writing poetry at the mere age of sixty-eight. Not wanting to let his name or legacy die he opened up a lounge in California named after his childhood nickname.

Being the well respected man he was, Jenkins lounge quickly became popularized. He was able to run his business up until his health declined.

Leaving his business to his oldest son Henry Hendricks, Henry ran the business until Heaven was up in age.

Seeing her passion for reading and poetry, Henry knew his daughter would do right by her grandfather business.

Needless to say she's been successfully running it for four years—even earning an award for America's number one reading spot.

Heaven knew her grandfather was proud of her like her father.

"Okay little ones, who want a snack?!".

Heaven used her hip to push open the door of the children's area.

Just last year she was able to add on a children section, money well spent.

Heaven loved reading the new books to the children or hosting movie night for them to see movies they haven't seen.

Heaven knew what it was like to want to see a movie but her parents couldn't afford it at the time, this gave her a opportunity to gift children with something she didn't have as a child.

"Me!". They simultaneously yelled as their small hands shot up hoping to grasp onto her attention.

Her dimples sunk in from the wide smile on her face, their pure souls bringing joy to her heart.

"Be careful with the crumbs and if you make a mess just let me know and I'll help you clean it up". Heaven instructed the variety of children ranging from three to seven years old.

The children's club was for ages three through eight, everyone else would either go through to the boys and girls section or just general population—either way it goes there is room for everyone.

"Thank you Ms. Heaven, you're the best!". Ryder one of the younger boys says while opening his pack of Oreos.

"Aww thank you Ryder, you're the best too!". Heaven playfully pinched his cheek before distributing the rest of the snacks.

Once she seen the children were occupied with their snack and A Charlie Brown's Christmas movie, she exited out of the room not before checking on Sam—one of the teens she hired to run the room.

"Ethan should be coming in soon to relieve you". Heaven says to Sam before closing the door.

Glancing at her Apple Watch, she seen it was nearing six in the evening which meant the lounge would be closing soon.
