Namiko clan information:

The Namiko clan is highly intune with wind and water style jutsus. They get this high intuition from the god of wind, Fūjin. The clans women have the ability to create and slightly control or manipulate Tornadoes, Typhoons, hurricanes, or generate earthquakes. With typhoons and Hurricanes they need a large body of water nearby to form them. These of course are possible with the specific chakra nature akin to them called Disaster Release sadly only the women have this chakra nature.

The Namiko clans summon is the swan. Their swans grow large in size which allows them easy travel to other lands of the world, in fact some of their taijutsu fighting styles rely heavily on the gracefulness of swans for evading and then attacking. The clans kekkei genkai is weather manipulation, this requires their emotions to be a certain way in order to work some examples would be-

Annoyed: grey clouds look as though it could rain but it won't.

Angry: dark looming clouds with thunder and a harsh wind.

Sad: can range from a light drizzle to a downpour/flood.

Happy/overjoyed: no clouds in sight blinding sun.

Namiko clan history-

The Namiko clan helped forge the gateway for Okagakure helping it expand during the warring states period. Eventually when okagakure was formed the namikos opted to just protect the village only for the villagers to rule that the namikos had the right to protect the village as a ruler and later kage. Ozaki Namiko was the first Arashikage solidifying that every first born of the Namikos would become the Arashikage.

Of course during Ozaki's kage reign his small group of scientists with basic knowledge had come up with a tool to help enhance chakra, heal the user, and enhance their strength/endurance in battle. This was come to be known as the storm weaver. Only one has been made due to the Namiko women only being allowed to bear two kids. Originally the two kids were utilized so one could continue the line typically the female and the male to be wedded off into another family, although at some point that changed to the second born being brought up as the user for the storm weaver to become the arashikages protector.

The Storm weaver forced the bearer to go through four trials, the first stage is bonding with the storm weaver which happens a few hours after the baby is stabilized, the second stage is the trials. The first trial is a chakra test, the storm weaver is supposed to help aid in chakra pool growth. The second trial is endurance, this stage is to test how much the chakra pools are enhanced and if it helps the strength grow in the user. And the last trial is healing. This trial tests to see if the Storm weaver heals the user after being stabbed and cut with various weapons. Since the production of the Storm weaver a majority of the subjects have died. All except for Maka the latest bearer of the Storm weaver.
