The Blue Earing and The Scarf
As soon as she woke up, Emma knew something was different. She got up quickly and opened the curtains. She looked around her tiny bedroom. At first, everything seemed normal. But then she noticed a small blue earing on her desk. It wasn't hers. Where was it from? Suddenly a strange bird flew into her room. It was holding a pink silk scarf in its beak. The bird dropped the scarf onto her desk and made a loud noise. Emma was confused and a little scared. Then Emma saw a label tied to the scarf. She read the message: "Take the earing and the scarf and follow the bird." The bird looked at her, waiting.
