''Hey mama". I say to my mother making my way downstairs
"Hey Kita, what r u doing ? " My mama asks me
"Nothing about to go to the mall and get some things I need after I'm finished eating breakfast
"Oh okay be safe then when you leave" I hug my mama before I get in the car and head towards the mall ____________________________________________
I get to the mall and approach the shoe department store.
"Hi, could I get those Jordan 4 retros in a size 6.5" I ask the girl working in the store
"Sure give me one second" she says going in the back.
"Thx you" I say to her."Ur welcome, your total is $300" I swipe my card and leave the store
~ As I'm walking I'm not paying attention which makes me trip into someone walking in front of me 😭~
"Oh my... I'm so sorry. I really didn't mean to trip into you like that" I looked up at a woman after picking up my shoes
"It's okay you fine" She says
As I go to walk away she starts to talk. " Hey, My name is Nani". I look back. "Hi, my name is Makita but everybody calls me (Kita) for short
"Uhm I was going to go get food right now wanna come with?" I ask Nani. "Yeah I'm coming right along"
~We walk to the food stands and order Raisin Canes before we sit down and start talking~
"Sooo, how old r u" she asks me. I'm 23, I'm turning big 24 in November. I tell her as she chuckles. "We're literally like the same age I'm 24". She says to me
"Omg finally someone close in age with me, it always seems like people are like 10 years older than me" 🤣 I say shoving fries into my mouth. "Ikr you can nvr get a break frm it" Nani says
~We talk for the next hour and then decide to leave~
"Lemme put my number in your phone, I feel were gonna be great friends" I hand her my phone and she saves herself as (Nani 🫶🏾🖤) "See you later Nani" I say waving bye to her as we go separate ways ____________________________________________
"MOOOMMMM!!!" I yell coming into the door. "Quit all that fucking screaming in my house and be a normal person" I chuckled laughing at my mom's tone
"I met a new friend today at the mall". I say very excitedly. "Good somebody need to get ur ass out of this house you nvr got nobody to hang out wit or talk to if it's not Mai"
"Ntm but where is Mai at anyways". I ask looking around . "Chile idk these teenagers nowadays". "I nvr know where she be at , as long as she come in before those street lights". My mama don't give a damn, unless it's about those damn street lights 😭
~I walk upstairs and do my hygiene before I get comfortable in bed. I scroll on Instagram for a hot li' hour before I drift off to sleep~
