Meeting you

●Alison was a normal woman. That was until she met you, and you completely re-wired her brain. Making her feel a deeper sense of obsession that she had never felt before. Fooling herself into thinking it was love.

●She can still remember that day so clearly after years. She gets a little mad when she asks you if you remember, and you respond with a simple. "Sorry, honey, my mind is a little foggy." But either way, she holds that day close to her heart.

●You were a simple baker working for your family's bakery. She walked into the establishment to pick up some bread. She usually didn't go there, but the bakery she usually went to closed early for the day. She had to go somewhere else. And she's lucky she did.

●You were putting different pastries in the display case. Your whole attention snapped over to the door once you heard the bell ring. Alison thought your reaction was that of a puppy looking for its owner. It was cute.

●You were polite and nice. Any other person would see it as normal and go about their day. But Alison couldn't stop thinking about you. She wasn't sure why. She frantically wrote in her diary.

Dear Diary, I'm not sure why, but the boy at the bakery is all over my mind. I can't stop thinking about him! Sure, he was cute and nice, but he wasn't anything special. Now that I write that down, it hurts me. I take it back! Maybe he is special. Is this a crush? It feels like one, but it feels so different, too. It feels more powerful. Am I in love?

●She would document her feelings day in and day out. The diary was purely filled with thoughts about you.

●One day, she had enough. Her crush wasn't going away, so she needed to do something.

●She decided to ask you out.

●It's been months at this point since she started visiting the bakery, so you knew her name and her usual order.

●On that fateful day, she walked in with more confidence than usual and stood tall and proud.

"Hi, Alison! How was your day?" You happily ask as you go to get a bag to pack her order.

"Go out with me."

Your eyes widened. It took you a second to process. It didn't sound like a question. It was like a command. Something you had to do.

"Excuse me?" You ask, maybe you didn't hear, right? She didn't just say what you thought she did.

"Would you like to go out with me?" Alison took a nicer approach. She was aware that she sounded forceful. She knew if she wanted you to go on a date with her, she would have to be nice.

"Oh! Ummmm..."

Alison could feel her heart pounding in her ears, and she could feel her face go red. Were you going to actually reject her? She didn't think this far. She assumed that you would agree.

Maybe you had someone else in mind, and if so, then who? Was she better than Alison? No, that couldn't be. She was nice, beautiful, caring, hardworking, and so much more. There is no way that someone could beat her in winning your heart.

"Sure! But is it okay if we... take it slow? I've never been in a relationship before. But I would love to go out with you."

Alison's face exploded in a bright blush. For a second, she thought that you would say no, but now you're all hers! Even if you didn't know it yet.
