It was another night, a spooky night to be more accurate. It was Halloween night and as a treat for his rising band mates, Shinji decided to take the members of Kessoku Band out for a movie at the local theater. Since it was the day of frights, they opted to watch the latest horror movie. Something about a little trickster ghost making deals or something. Very scary is what the reviews had said. Shinji of course paid for all their tickets. His wallet did take a hit as they arrived at the concession stand, Ryo giving him a look that said "I'm broke, and really hungry, so please, please, please, by me the jumbo big bag bucket bundle. Please. You said you were treating us!" to which he obviously did, sighing. The five of them went to find their seats. Nijika and Kita opted to sit on one side of Shinji, should they get scared from the terrors on the screen, saying they needed their "middle man to be there to protect them". Their words, not his. To think after all this time, his most social band mates were the scaredy cats of the group. Bocchi said she was fine not sitting next to him, opting to sit next to Kita, which she was fine with. She had another person who could protect her should Shinji be occupied. Ryo sat to the left of her friend, a giant jumbo bucket of popcorn in one hand & a jumbo extra large soft drink in another. She had already finished 1/4 of the popcorn by the time they sat down. 'Damn girl, save some for the rest of us!' thought Shinji. The movie began shortly. It was alright. They thought it may have been a bit rushed in the plot. And that post credits scene was..... interesting to say the least. The members began to make their way out of the theater, heading towards a Halloween party that was to be held at STARRY.
Shinji: "All I'm saying is that there's not always a need to add a post credits scene in every movie. I bet you it's not even going to pay off in the future." he argued with Ryo.
Ryo: "Ah, Shinji-kun, you're wrong. I'm sure we will see those mysterious members in the future. I'll bet you your whole paycheck on it." she happily proclaimed.
Shinji: "You just want my money, don't you?" She looked away, not denying it he noted.
Kita: "Now, let's not argue about such things. We have a Halloween party to get to. I can't wait to show you my costume, Shinji-kun!" she exclaimed with a little jump.
Nijika: "You're right. My sister pulled out all the stops to make this party the best. A little something for are recent accomplishments as a band!"
Shinji: "She's really proud of you, Nijika. You're making your big sister proud." he said as he patted her head.
Nijika just blushed: "Oh you. But my sister is still my sister. She'll be upset if we take too long."
Suddenly, a finger tapped Shinji's shoulder. Frighten, he turned around: "Oh, it's just you Bocchi. What's up?"
Bocchi: "Um, if we're in a hurry...then why don't we take a short cut through there?" everyone stared at where she was pointing, gulping.
Ryo: "Oh, a cemetery."
Nijika: "Was.....was that there before?"
Shinji: "I.....I don't think I remembered one being so close to STARRY."
Kita: "It looks so spooky! There's a bunch of fog everywhere!"
Shinji: "Well, if it looks like it's the quickest route to STARRY," he turned to Nijika, who nodded. ,"then let's take it. Come on, girls." He said as he led the group towards the cemetery's path.
Everywhere they looked was marked with tombstones. The fog was particularly thick the further they went in. They had to eventually take out their phone's flashlights to see.
Bocchi: "Does.......does anyone smell that odor?"
Nijika: "It smells......familiar."
Suddenly, they heard a noise from behind and turned around to see a figure tumbling out of from behind a grave.
