Sharing the Walls

Problem

You open the door expecting to see Levi but instead you are face to face with your friend Eren. "Hey Eren." You say cheerfully. He seems to have a scared expression on his face. "Can I stay at your place for a bit...?" He asked with a shiver. "Yeah sure, why?" You ask. He walks in and brings a couple bags in with him. "Are you okay?" You ask. You see tears begin to steam down his face. You come over to him and hug him. "Dude are you okay?" You say. "My.... Mom...." He muttered between sniffles and short breaths. "Eren what happened?" You say while rubbing his back, trying to comfort him. "He killed my mom." He mutters. You stare at him in shock. "Who killed your mom!!" You say as you hold his hand to comfort him. "This morning, I walked into the living room and I saw her lying on the ground. Blood surrounding her." "Oh my god, I am so sorry... Did you call the police?" "Yeah they said to come to a trusted persons house." "I'm glad you came. I am so sorry Eren..." "I'm fine don't worry..." You hug him and wipe a tear from his eye. You remember that you were supposed to go to Levi's place for tea tomorrow. "Are you hungry?" You ask. "Yeah..." He replies. You give him a smile and walk into the kitchen. You hear him crying in the other room. You take out the necessary objects and begin to cook some pasta. Eren comes into the room and stands in the corner, leaning against the counter. "You sure you're ok Eren?" You say. "Yeah." He replies. "You can either sleep on my bed or the couch." "I'll take the couch." "Okay, did you bring sleeping stuff or do you need?" "I didn't have time to grab mine so mind if I borrow a blanket and a pillow?" "No not at all, I'll get it for you now. Watch the stove for me." You give him a sweet smile and walk into your room. You grab an extra pillow and blanket and set it on the couch. You return to the kitchen and continue cooking. "You're a great friend (y/n). I don't know if i could live without you." "Well I'm glad you came here." He gives you a weak smile and sighs.

The next morning you're awoken by a snoring Eren. You walk into your living room and see Eren fast asleep cuddling with a teddy bear. You giggle and walk into the kitchen to make breakfast. Right as you set the pancakes on the plate Eren wakes up. "Good morning, Eren how did you sleep?" "I slept fine, a couple nightmares that's it. What smells so good (y/n? Tell me please." You smile and reply. "I'm just making some pancakes for us." You specifically made 6. 2 for you, 2 for Eren and 2 for Levi. You wanna give some to Levi later. You look at the time. 12:38 Hmm, only a couple more hours till you go for tea, wait Levi might not like pancakes.... Maybe 3 pancakes for you and 3 for Eren...? Ah what the hell.
