Tae's possessiveness suffocated Kook.

One evening, as they dined at a cozy restaurant, Kook's phone buzzed.

Tae's eyes narrowed. "Who is it?"

Kook hesitated. "Just Jimin, hyung."

Tae's grip on his fork tightened. "Don't answer it."

Kook's unease grew. "Tae, I should—"

"Don't," Tae warned.

Kook reluctantly silenced the phone.

Tae's intensity frightened Kook.

"Tae, you're scaring me," Kook whispered.

Tae's expression softened. "I just want to protect you."

Kook's voice trembled. "From what? From who?"

Tae's eyes flashed. "From everyone. From everything."

Kook's heart ached. "Tae, that's not love. That's suffocation."

Tae's face twisted. "You don't understand."

Kook stood up. "I understand that you're hurting me."

Tae's eyes widened. "Kook, don't go."

Kook walked out, leaving Tae alone.

Kook's tears fell. "That's not love. That's obsession."

Tae's face contorted. "You're mine, Kook. Forever."

Kook's heart shattered.

"I don't want to be yours," Kook whispered.

Tae's world crumbled.

"You're lying," Tae spat. "You're just saying that to hurt me."

Kook's voice rose. "No, Tae. I mean it."

Their screams echoed through the night.
