chapter 2 - Fake relationship?

DECEMBER 19TH, 2023.

A few days before Noelle's fourteenth birthday.

Honestly, Ever since the cast was announced, Leah, the girl who plays Annabeth, and Noelle were getting hate. Some people believed Noelle didn't have the talent to become the actress, and Leah wasn't white to be Annabeth. (Uhm Racism for real)

But anyway, the cast was getting ready for the Percy Jackson premiere.

Now, in the other room, Scarlett and Ryan were yelling at each other. The amount of hatred the two had for each other was real. I mean, if my husband cheated on me with a girl who's eleven years younger than him, I'd be pissed too. Ryan had this "controlling" husband persona.

Now, it wasn't SURE that Ryan cheated on Scarlett. But it was a little bit obvious that Scarlett and Ryan were not on good terms.

Since Noelle lived with Scarlett most of the time, her mother brought her a dress from Christian Dior. Well, it was a duplicate because Noelle didn't wanna pull a kim kardashian on the dress and ruin it.

"You guys, stop!" Noelle said as the two continued arguing. Leaving the bathroom. "Tonight is not about you. It's about me. So please, stop arguing." She said, gazing up at her parents as the two reluctantly nodded.

"I'm sorry, sweetheart, you look so gorgeous." Scarlett said as Ryan decided not to say anything.

"I'm gonna check up on Blake." Ryan responded as he walked off and left the room.

Noelle let out a sigh as she began aggressively brushing her hair. "Do I look phat?" She asked as Scarlett took the brush from Noelle and made her sit in front of a mirror, slowly brushing the brunette's hair.

"Phat? Do you mean fat?" Scarlett asked, confused by what Noelle meant.

"Phat- Pretty, hot and tempting?" Noelle asked, gazing at her mother's reflection to her little joke.

"Was this a line from those indian movies you binge watch?" Scarlett asked as she looked at her teenager. Noelle nodded as Scarlett let out a sigh. "You're weird."

"Those are some great movies." Noelle responded as she took her lipgloss and applied it. "But seriously, do I look fat?" She asked, standing up to look at her reflection wearing the dress by Christian Dior.

"Nope." Scarlett responded as she smiled at Noelle before squeezing her into a tight, tight hug.

Later at the premiere being host at the met- where Walker had filmed the first scene at, Noelle was just getting her photo clicked with both of her families- first she got her photo clicked with Scarlett and her family, then Ryan and his family.

(Noelle might've not had beef with Blake during taking the photos).

"Oh my days, shut the fuck up, Walker. You look like a fucking ginger with that hair." Noelle whispered as she was forced to have a cast photo.

"You're the one to speak. You literally got this role before of your father." Walker scoffed. The two tried to seem calm as the paparazzi were taking HOURS to click some photos.

"And you look adopted. Like seriously. Your sister is blonde, your mother is blonde, then how are you a ginger?"

"Same with you. How do you look so ugly if your dad is one of the handsome and your mother is one of the prettiest in the industry?"

"You're adopted, your siblings look better than you."

"Take that back-"

"No."
