The drive was silent, and the rain had calmed down a bit ....but my nerves?not so much......
"I'll l be dropping you off with a trusted person, they'll take proper care of you, it's no longer safe with me anymore....."
She said in hushed tones.
At this point I've had enough! But I wasn't too surprised.
"You'll be dropping me off with trusted people?....."i trailed off, thinking about my whole life here(not that i had anything interesting to do ) "you know mom, if I burden you,you can just say it instead of passing through shortcuts!"
I frowned .
"Listen.... I'll explain when all this is over, but for now I need you to lay low.And I'm going to get Dana back!trust me"
She said softly and with tension in her eyes.My shoulders dropped in defeat and I heaved a sigh .
"You do know I'm in my final year?"I questioned .
She pulled out a tissue and handed it over to me ,nodded in my direction, I then realized there was liquid trickling down the side of my face , I placed a finger on my face and realized it was just rinsed blood .
"It'll all be sorted out!just....try not to give them  a headache,they are very short tempered people-"
The car suddenly screeched to a stop!
The fuck?!
I placed my hands on my chest trying to recover from the temporary shock .What is this a suicide mission??
"Get out!" She screamed!
No not this again .
"Why?" I yelled back at her
"Fucking listen and run now!"
Just then I saw some figures emerging from the dark ....as i had suspected,there was a blackout and the only light in sight was from the headlights of the car.The streetlights we're all out .
"Mom, let's go"
I said unfastening her seat belt.... we'll be surrounding within seconds from the looks of it, why not make a run for it?
"Go I'll be fine "she said , of course you'll be fine
I'll worried about me!!"where did you want me to go by this time of the night!?in the middle of fucking no where??!!!"
I screamed at her ! she's being irrational!

"Just go !!! he'll find you!"
She said before pushing me out of the car and whispering I love you...
What the...-
I stared at her and saw the determination in her eyes,realizing what she was about to do , I made a run for it !
"If  we make it out of this alive , I'll make it my mission to unalive you !"i yelled as i started running off in the darkness , in the middle of nowhere, with absolutely , no clue where I'm heading !
That's when I realized something...."He??"
I looked back but she had already sped off and the guys who were surrounding her from a distance had cleared before she could get to them.....that would have been a bloody sight !
I noticed the footsteps behind me,panicking I made a run for it ....not waiting to think or look back at all ....I ran so much and forgot about the pain in my ankles,because i didn't want to feel the pain these guys were going to inflict on me if they caught up .
My legs soon started giving in and I was panting like crazy , I felt my knees grow weak and next thing I heard was a harsh thud ,before i could feel the pain spread all over my body.
I didn't have the energy to move anymore, I was exhausted and drained .....yep today has got be the worstest day of my life without doubt !
I felt my eyes embracing the darkness and my body succumbing the pain that shot through my body .
Well,this is it??
I'm just gonna die like this ??well that's pathetic ...I won't have thought that I would die this way.
The last thing I heard was heavy breathing and  " she's a strong one all right"before I gave in to well...death!

I stared at her ugly duck face all night in irritation  and annoyance, hoping she doesn't die in her sleep ,and more importantly, in my house!
   She finally stirred in her sleep showing signs of living....the girl is as still as fuck!she sleeps as though she's kept in a coffin , and it creeps the hell outta me!
Someone remind me how the hell,I agreed to this again ???
"Heaven is Soo...."i didn't catch the rest of what she said,but I couldn't help but glare at her in annoyance!she sleep talks??in addition to being a fucking ghost,she also sleep talks??
Fucking great!
I left her in the room and slammed the door shut after making sure for the hundredth time that she's still alive!
   I've barely had any rest since a week ago when Elkanah  called me and told me of the current situation , it's been one hell of a week, and the next thing I knew , boom, they called me yesterday morning to come pick up that burden and Dana!
I wasn't happy about the news ,but it's the least I could do for Mrs Wilson.
She's been like the only mother figure I've had!I had no choice but to oblige ....only to find out that it was this ugly  duckling ...
Ugh
I turned on the TV to watch something to get this whole shit off my mind, but I couldn't stop thinking about Dana , I sincerely hope she'd be fine! she's been through Soo much in her life already.

I felt hot breathing on my face , I scrunched up my nose in annoyance and furrowed my brows .
What the heck!
I opened my eyes to meet  a pair of  grey bulging eyes!
"Holy fu-"I yelled as I fell to the ground with a thud !
And then the screeching sounds began !
"What the actual fuck!!" I yelled in her face, when did she even wake up , wasn't she supposed to have a mild concussion?
"You startled me!" She said feigning anger
"I startled you!??!?you had your eyes stuck up in my nostrils!!"ughhhh, why's she Soo annoying!
"And for a good purpose too! You looked dead , and pale....I was checking for pulse!!" She stated like I was the idiot here...
"In my nose?"i stared at her in absolute frustration.
"Get out of my way !"I murmured,pushing her out my sight .
What a great way to start the day !

I climbed up the stairs and into my bedroom angrily ! I have a strong feeling I'll be kicking her out by midnight.

"I'm sorry about earlier...I was honestly just scared. ..so, Is this a heist?are you kidnapping me , are you going to kill me ?who sent you?"
She kept on rambling in my ear not giving me space to breathe ...my ears flickered on their own and i could feel my jaw tighten subconsciously .
"No!
Now find something to eat , I'll be in my study !"
I said as I finished adding a butter to the last toast .
"Wait...you can't just ....hey I'm talk-"
I slammed the door shut in her face and locked it from behind.

Well ,mum wasn't wrong about him being a total douchebag .wait what assurance do I have that he's the one ?

I'm starving, I haven't had anything to eat since my shift yesterday.

He must be worried sick about my whereabouts.
I went back to the sitting room and glanced around for a clock ....5:30.
I've always been an early bird though,today should be the 15th of August .
What am I supposed to do all day now,sit and await death?
It's a bummer I didn't die yesterday though, I was certain I would make it to heaven!
Where am I even , could it be .....
I went back into the room I was coming from and found that the bed was tidied and the room looked all near ....hmmm.
The sound of the showers stopped and suddenly,he walked out half naked, with a towel draped around his waist and water drilled down on his pale skin !
Well that's not a sight for kids .
I stared at him blankly and he just ran his fingers through his hair, still not realizing my presence and shook out the water in it..
Talk about being a drama queen, I rolled my eyes.
"It's rude to gawk you know "He suddenly said making my heart skip .
"I was looking at the painting"I said in defense .
"I know,I am of course a fine work of art  " he said with no traces of laughter  in his voice
Oh, so he's not only a jerk but also a flirt?
I was taken back by his statement and found myself staring numbly at the airhead a few feet away  from me.
"Close your mouth sweetheart ,you don't want your chin to fall off " He said while drying his hair with a white towel and not sparing me a glance.
