Harika,s pov
The golden morning light poured through the sheer curtains of Harika's room, filling the space with a soft, serene glow. The alarm on her phone had been ringing, but as usual, she had somehow managed to sleep through it. When she finally woke up and checked her phone, her heart skipped a beat.
7:30 AM
"Oh no, late, late, late!" Harika gasped, throwing off the covers and jumping out of bed. Her mind was already racing as she hurried to grab her clothes and freshen up. "Aaji's going to call me any second now," she muttered, a mix of anxiety and humor in her tone as she scrambled around the room.
Right on cue, she heard her grandmother's voice echoing through the house, clear and as gentle as a soft melody but with the urgency of a motherly nudge.
"Hariii, pooje la yeeee! It's getting late, !" Aaji called out from the prayer room.
Harika paused, chuckling She grinned as she hastily brushed her hair, feeling a rush of warmth at her grandmother's call
Harika - "aale g ajji mala already late zhalay " ( I am coming grandma I am already late )
She darted down the stairs, still fumbling to tie her hair. "Sorry!" she called out, almost tripping over her own feet. "Oh, wait me introduce myself properly, shouldn't I?" she mumbled to herself. She took a moment to compose her thoughts, her cheeks flushing with a shy smile.
"Hi, I'm Harika," she thought, imagining how she would introduce herself to someone new. "And this... this is my family. Aaji is my grandmother, as loving as she is fierce about her morning pooja routine. Ajoba, my grandfather, who's the sweetest but doesn't let anyone miss the daily rituals." She smiled, reaching the bottom of the stairs just in time to see him seated peacefully with a prayer book in hand, already lost in the rhythm of his chants. "And then there's my dad, Hrishikesh Gaikwad the scientist with a heart of devotion who believes as much in science as he does in the grace of Vithoba."
Ajji - "oho hi mulgj kadhi sudhar nare roj late"' ( when will this will girl always late )
Harika jumped with fear she knew whats coming when it's about her vithoba and Pooja
Harika - "sorry sorry ajju " mi late nhi karnar "( sorry granny I'll not be late from now
By then her saviour ajoba stepped in saying "kiti oradates tila "( why u yell at her like that )You to used be late like this after our marriage
Ajji - " ha ha you both team up you will be late for your own marriage laddu "
Ajoba laughed now let's go it's getting late as they entered in the Pooja room the Pooja started by shri hari strotram
