He let his mind savor the last memories he had with you.

The noise of your shoes creating when you're running towards the science lab, the bright smile you're giving to everyone in the room while poking your heads to their work. And your usual habit of clinging to Senku's arms or embrace while giving the usual "Senku did you know?" phrase. God he missed all those things about you.

But in this stone world, you're not beside him when he woke up and hell you're nowhere to be found to begin with because of something that he did 3700 years ago. If he hadn't shared the topic about the strange phenomenon of swallows becoming petrified, you would've been by his reach right now. But we'll, what's done is done and he only hopes that he could retrieve your petrified body or you're somewhere safe.

After all those tireless days, they finally locate the black puddle with a help of a wild boar. They let Suika keep the boar as a reward for finding the oil field after fearing that the dear boar would be the next meal.
