AN: Thank you for taking the time to check out my newest endeavor. Many of you may have read Generations, Alibi, and/or Bitter, and you will find that some of the OneShots will include connections to one or more of the books. I will mark each that does. There will also be OneShots that are stand alone and have no connections to my other works. I hope you will continue to join me as the story of Mr. and Mrs. Knight continues to unfold.

Special thanks to @HamSandwich2025 who requested this book. I hope it lives up to your dreams.

For Toni Thenurserynursefan1

From a shot in the dark request to the friendship we have built, I will never stop wondering what I did to be granted such an amazing opportunity. You have been my most honest critic, best defender, and biggest fan. I will never forget that.

***Alibi and Bitter connections***

Marjorie sat on the bench in the park she had spent her childhood and teen years practically living in with Shibby. The benches weren't here back then. She and Siobhan had always brought a blanket to sit on before the little house appeared. She hadn't thought of that little house in years.

She actually couldn't believe she was here. When she left, she had sworn she would never return. But here she sat, and this day wasn't going to be easy. It was never going to be easy.

Reece sat beside her and pulled her in. She snuggled into his side feeling the calm wash over her but never letting her eyes leave the pond. "Gorgeous are you alright?"

"Mmhmm" she couldn't say she wasn't alright neither could she say she was particularly well. She knew she should be emotional and less sedate, but she had mastered indifference towards them over the years. "It is kind of strange being back here. This pond ... this place ..." she waved her hand in front of her. "Shibby and I practically raised ourselves here. We were always hiding from one parent or the other."

He pulled her in tighter. He had heard the stories about her own parents before, and in more recent years had learned more about Siobhan's as well. He had survived his own miserable childhood, but he had Autumn and Mia. They had always given him strength. They had given him someone to protect.

Marjorie and Siobhan had survived largely by making themselves scarce. He knew there was more to the story, but for the most part they ran to this park and the little house not knowing who their mysterious benefactor was.

Marjorie peered back at the car. "Do you think she is alright with Eric?" Their little girl had just turned two, and she adored her older brother. Eric had always been good with her. He doted over her much like Reece and Marjorie did. Her concerned was that he would give in and let her eat chocolates or sweets when she already had her dress on.

"I guess we should go. Thank you, my love, I am really glad I got to see this place again. I forgot just how peaceful staring across this pond could be." As they made their way back to the car, another car pulled up.

As the blond stepped out, she pulled Marjorie into an embrace. "How are you, Jorie?"

"What are you doing here?"

"Marjorie, you didn't really think I was going to let you do this without me, did you?" Marjorie brush a tear from her own face. She never would have asked her to come back here, but she was incredibly moved she had come.

"We have to head over now, or we will be late. We both know she would hate that."

"Alright, Jorie, let's go say goodbye to the ole bitch" They both laughed but you could almost feel the history flowing between them. A history they were glad their own daughters would never have to live. Together, and with a strength they never had before, they would watch Aileen's power finally be usurped as she was lowered into the ground.
