Queen Jazzy POV
Leo and I were babysitting for Molly and Arthur because they just had a baby Ginny a month ago and having all the kids there wasn't good for Molly when she was still recovering. Now we have Bill, Charlie, Percy, and the Twins plus our own four kids. Leo was playing with Bill, Nik, and Paddy on kids flying brooms. The Twins and Jamie were playing with Leo's house elf Dewy and Jamie's personal house elf Dizzy. The Twins and Jamie were born on the same day and ever since they've met the three have been inseparable. Percy was sitting on the couch reading a kid's book like usual. Charlie was playing with a 2-year-old Rosie. Ever since a 5-year-old Charlie met a newborn Rosie he always wants to be with her which Molly and I find adorable.
We're in the middle of a war right now and moments like these are always so nice it makes us forget about all the bad things happening. My little brother and his family are in hiding because of Voldemort. He wants my nephew because of a prophecy. He wants my daughter because of who she is and the power she will hold but he knows he can't touch her she's the heir to the Magical Royal Throne. The Royal heirs are very important but Rosie is the first female royal heir since Rosalin Royal the person who created the Magical World. She gave people magic and created wizards and witches. She had special gifts and gave families gifts that most pureblood families are gifted like speaking to snakes. Thanks to Roselin the Magic World made the Royal family the Monrach.
Everyone born with Royal blood is gifted with a gift. Nik is an empath he showed it when he was around 3 years old. Paddy can read minds and showed it when he was 5 years old. Jamie and Rosie haven't shown any signs of gifts yet.
I'm worried about Rosie there's already so much pressure on her and she's not even three yet. My three boys my princes are so young but they already know that their little sister is important and they're very protective of her.
The kids were still playing when a guard came running in. "Your Majesties!" Leo and I looked up and saw Josy with a distressed look.
"Josy, what's wrong?" Leo asked and stood up. Another one of our guards Felix came in with one of my best friends Severus. When Severus looked up and met my eyes I saw that it was red and swollen.
"Dewy, Chevy, Dazzle, Churn, Dizzy, and Bubby can you please put the kids to bed?" I asked our personal house elves. They all looked at us and nodded. The elves led the kids out of the room and I haven't taken my eyes off Severus. "Sev what's going on?" He kept looking at me and started to shake his head. He was about to break down so I ran up to him and held him when he started crying. "Did he do something to you?" He just shook his head.
He finally looked at me again and said "He killed them, I was too late."
"Who Severus? What happened?" Leo asked while I guided Severus to the couch.
"He killed James and Lily" He looked at me and I froze. I didn't know what to do my little brother was gone and so was his wife. I wasn't there to save him and all I could do was stand there and stare at Severus. I didn't even realize that I was losing my balance until Leo grabbed me and sat me down. That's when I broke into a cry. I cried for my baby brother and his family. Oh, his family then I thought of Harry. Was he still alive? And if he was what's going to happen to him? I mean I would gladly take him and raise him like he was my own. Then I looked at Severus again.
"What about Harry? Is he okay?" I asked him between my cries
"He's fine even though he got hit with the killing curse but nothing happened only left him a scare on his forehead," Sev told me
"Oh god, that poor boy. Where is he gonna go? Sirius is his Godfather but I know Jazzy and I would take him" Leo said
"Dumbledore wants him to stay with Lily's sister," Severus told us. "They think Sirius was the reason they got killed because he was their secret keeper and no one had seen him until the Aurors found him in a muggle town and killed Peter. He got sent to Azkaban.
"What! They are horrible people they don't like people like us. Harry is a wizard they wont accept that" I told him.
"I know Jazz but Dumbledore thinks it's the only way to keep him safe"
"Why does it matter? I thought Voldemort is gone now?" Leo questioned
"Oh come on Leo you know he's not gone for good. The boy needs to be with muggles" He said
"But were his family too" I cried. Leo wrapped his arms around me and let me cry for my brother and his wife but also for a friend. After Severus left Leo and I cried for the people we lost. "We should go check on the kids," I told him and got up.
I walked up the stairs and towards Rosie's room when Chevy came up to me. "He won't leave her side you're majesty so I let him sleep in there with her" When Chevy told me that I knew exactly what she meant. I looked into the room and saw Charlie holding Rosie and Rosie snuggled up to him. I just stared at them and hoped nothing would ever change between them.
Leo walked up behind me wrapped an arm around me and stared at the kids with me. "They're gonna get married one day" he whispered.
"Hopefully" I whispered back. We just looked at them and smiled and tried to be strong for our kids and our nephew who just lost everything.
