why lana?

the beginning

*Two months ago, before the switch up*

I look up at the sky, admiring the view of the castle's big garden.
The garden that I created, brick by brick.
It was essentially my training area.
Before, it used to be dull and ugly.
That is of course, until I threw a huge fit about jumping off the roof unless big head gives the graden to me, so I could fix it.
And he gave in, on the condition that I only see my baby(hamster) once in a week for a MONTH!
And to say the least, it was worth it.

I always wanted to bring lana here, but big head never let me for some stupid reason
Maybe today's the day I invite her here though.
It's her birthday today, April 16, and i want her sweet 16th AND diamond year to be perfect.

"Y/n! Get yo ass back inside, your food's ready!"

There he is,my father, slash, older brother figure, exept he acts nothing like a father or a brother would.
Still love him though.

As I entered the castle door, I was greeted by big head's dog, Patricia.
She loves me more then him btw

Big head:"Finally.
Food's in your room, no mission today since it's lana's birthday."
"day 145 of asking what does my mission have to do with lana"

Big head:"Shut up I'm busy.
Bye"

With that being said, he left.
I ask him this question everyday,hoping one day he'd crack and tell me everything.

Sigh
Whatever.
I should go see lana..

As I walked to my bedroom door to leave, I was stopped by one of my super nanny's..ugh

Super nanny 1:"not yet my darling!
Finish your food first, then you can leave"

I grumbled and went back to my food.

Grilled salmon with quinoa and veggies..
Wtf..

After finishing my food, I give the tray to nanny 1 and then make my way out to go see lana.
But before that, I have to say goodbye to my baby(h/m)

"LANA!"
lana:"(Y/N)!!"

"HAHA GOT YOU"

lana:"you're not funny..what if my parents hear you!?"

"I checked.
They're not here"

lana:"Whatever.."

I get off the edg of her window and plop down on her bed while she sits on her desk,doing god knows what.

"Studying on your birthday?
Come on lana, don't be boring"

lana:"Im not studying, im reading Greek mythology"

She said with an eye roll before going back to her book

I sat up at the mention of Greek mythology

"since when were you into Greek mythology?"

lana:"Since weird things started happening to me"

I laughed

"Like what?
A Greek myth started haunting you in your sleep🥺?"

lana:"...."

Lana slowly tilted her head in my direction.
A horrified expression on her face

"Lana?.."
I stared back with a confused expression..

lana:"How do you know this..?"

"Know what?..lana you good?.."
She shakes her head
Lana:"Yea..I'm just a little tired..
Hey, do you think we could go to the library today?
I wanna spend my birthday money on other Greek mythology books"
