CHAPTER 3, WAND OF POWER

By the next day I was part of the witch duel team 'The Seraphian snakes' and I was so surprised I got in, I guess I could tell the others when others will attack, I just have to be good at fighting with a wand instead of root powers..I stepped In class and the new kids were scattered across the room, "Witch kids, please head on to room 59311, all WITCH KIDS" me, Aregia, a guy called Blaze and his sister Mage walked to the room where Quinn Maroon stood there, she was from the other class and she was one of the prettiest most powerful popular person in the academy, she had grayish blonde wavy beautiful hair that faded into 3 colors, ocean blue, dark gray and light blonde (meaning, water, mind control and can talk to animals) She had one blue eye and one gray with tiny light blond sparkles in her eyes. "Oh, Hey Bella...." she said "we're getting our wands today Aurs..Is that the new girl on the Seraphian snakes?"

Aregia nodded, she looked amazed by the older girl.

"WITCHES AND WARLOCKS!!" said Mrs. Piper, her Icy blonde curly hair with light blue streaks waving in the air "We are gifting your wands today, now.. These wands are extensions to your powers you already have and will gift you an extra power if you are... useless" she said look at me, "I am Mrs Piper, all witch students will meet with me once a week on fridays, the other species will be sorted with others of the same kind,that new dragon guy will be put with werewolves, since he is apparently the only one, sounds fishy..." she said "please children, grab a wand from the table, they should be matched with your power.." I grabbed my wand "HAYAVOYUPLEK" she screamed and everyone repeated what she said "whisper what power you seek, remember, this power is only able to be accessed when you have the wand.." I whispered "anything I wish for comes true when I say... sesame after what I want?" the only word I could think of was sesame..The wand made a hissing sound and in the little wood swirls glowed a teal-ish blue with radiant gold and purple flashing through, I heard Aregia whisper "super strength" or something bold, "STUDENTS, TAKE YOUR WANDS AND LEAVE, REMEMBER WHAT YOU WISHED FOR"

We walked out the door, I grasped the wand and whispered "knowing all the answers to the test tomorrow...sesame.." The wand made a tiny sound like the ocean crashing on shore and I waited at the mars market, Selene by my side...would It come true? Selene eyed her a billion crushes and kept begging me to help her get to know them better, I made another wish, I won't let them know what I can do now, I held out my bracelet "make this bracelet not allow anyone to read my mind..sesame" I whispered, selene looked at me "what didja say? Sorry I didn't hear I was too busy waiting for you to help me!" We laughed and chatted a bit when my boring mom picked me up. In the car, Lari sat there eying the wand "what wish did you make sweetie angel" my mom said "uh...telekinesis" I knew I didn't have the power but hopefully the bracelet was working... "OOH! That's nice.. Sweetie...I can't read your mind... that ONLY happens when you're sick, ARE YOU SICK?" "I'm fine Mom!" I said annoyed "It's probably nothing!" I walked out the car, I dumped my bag in my room and ran to the front porch to get my bike. I biked to Selene's house, my wand stuffed in my back pocket and the bracelet on my arm.

Now that I have everything...I don't know what I want anymore.. Should I come clean to Selene, Mom and Oh Geez Even Lari?

I knocked on the door, Selene opened, the new kids all at her house. A party? I thought. She Had a Party without me? My head rang repeatedly "Bella? Omg I totally forgot about you for a second!" Selene said, I felt hurt. Forgot about me? Selene? She probably noticed I was hurt because she said "No! Not like that, heh... Come! Come in...!" I walked in the house. Aregia, Colette, Logan, Tyrone and Beatrice were looking at me.

"Mind Reader girl? WHATS UP!" Aregia said smiling "Another witch?" Colette said, Tyrone looked up from a book "Zip it will you? I'm trying to read." "Can you guys stop being bummers? It's rude.." Logan says, "I look around "Hi, I'm Bella" Selene then said "Ooh! Cute new bracelet!" "Yeah, I made it with my wand..." I said "Woah, woah...You said you got telekinesis powers.." Aregia said Did I accidently spill my secret? Too late now.. "I asked that whatever I want to happen will happen if I say 'Sesame' after it" I said "This is to protect my mom from reading my mind.." I said "Don't tell anyone!" "I coulda done that?!" Aregia said with regret. "I feel like someone probably already thought of that and this comes with a price, and now I feel like I have everything now.. What's my life point now huh?" I say twirling my wand "Should you destroy the wand?" Logan said "I want to help people first...." I say, "How cheesy" Colette said rolling her eyes "I don't believe you purple minion, Make something happen now, turn this piece of paper into an apple" She said, "Fine.." I grab the wand "Turn this paper into an apple, sesame.." The paper crumpled up into a ball and turned into an apple and then the apple flinged itself into the trash can. I went to the trash can and a red piece of paper lay there saying "I heard what you said.. Life, life is pointless with a cheat cheat everywhere.. I will now only let you use me once every day.. And I will make sure you don't use me to hurt people, make someone love you, and anything wrong.." The paper said.. I look at the wand "You are alive?" the wand twirled "Let this wand talk and be able to turn to a. .Fogat.. sesame" (a Fogat is a seraphian animal, it's like a small dog-cat animal that can fly with feathered white wings) I say, "did you forget we are here?" said Collette "shut up colette, How is that possible? How can a piece of seraphian witch wood have life?" Tyrone said "Maybe, they are trapped.." said Logan "Don't be stupid Logan!" Beatrice said, The wand was morphing into a wooden carving of a Fogat that moved, it slowly became more animal-like and wooden wings grew from the back of the Fogat. "WOAH" Said Selene "OMG SO CUTE!!" The wand-fogat then said in a voice "Not 'so cute'... so children... I am Jasmine.." The Fogat said "and I am afraid Logan is right... They trap witches and warlocks in wands.." "Lies, the seraphian royal government would never allow this!" yelled TyroneJasmine then said calmly "They trap every witch and warlock in here once a younger witch wishes for their power on a witch wand" said Jasmine "the powers the younger witches have arent 'Magic trees' they are witches and warlocks with the power you desire trapped in there so you can have power, witches die at one point and to not waste the infinite supply of power we have, they trap the witches above age 30 in wands once someone wishes for their power" "30 isn't that old though" said Aregia "Our parents, they might get captured to give witches with powers already more power? We are already born with powers, why give us more?" I say. Helen (Selene's sister for people who forgot) walks down the stairs to the basement with apple slices in her plate and stares at the Fogat with wooden wings talking and moving. "What's going on?!" Said Helen "Oh hello, seems you've walked in on my... little speech.." Jasmine said "a TALKING FOGAT?! SELENE WHAT IN THE WORLD?!" Helen said angrily "OMG sis! Do NOT ruin this! I want to hear the magical Fogat's little story!!" "well you guys can all yap and YAP but in the end we have a talking cat, no excuse and a little story!" Beatrice said. "EXPLAIN" Helen said. We told Helen about the trapped witches and the rest.. "Wait.." I say "Jasmin...there can be witches born with getting whatever they want?" The Fogat looked up "Very..very..rarely.." "GUYS, its a school day tomorrow! I need to get going..we all should! Its none of our business!" Colette said, Aregia turned to look at Colette "Coll, its still cool we have a friend with special powers!!" "SHE IS NOT OUR FRIEND!" Said Tyrone "Oh be nice for once" Kyle said "But we could be friends with her.." said Beatrice.
