Bringing tears to the eyes.
For her heart was broken,
Through a single word, she still full of surprise.
A firefighter rushing out of flames,
Carrying a child, burnt and crying.
Though alive the memories like chains,
The mother approaching, as she finished praying.
Superman flying at the speed of sound!
Batman masked and meek,
Robin on a motorcycle, explosion in the background.
Heroes like these are what we seek.
It may be the words, a life or fantasy...
Heroes everywhere,
So many the eye cannot see.
