The birth of ryder

After the kids went to bed, the adults stayed up and chatted. I decided to go take a nice bath. After about 20 minutes Kid went to check on me. He heard crying. He panicked a little. He rushed in and saw me holding a little boy. He grinned and helped get him cleaned up and in warm clothes. "Why didn't you say anything about getting ready to give birth "I didn't feel anything at all. He just slipped out". He gave me a disbelieving look. He used his free hand to help me out of the tub and I washed over to get in PJs. We held him for a while before bringing him down to meet everyone. As soon as everyone saw him, They all jumped up and smiled. Nami and Shira fought over who was going to hold him first. Usopp and Luffy were fighting over who was going to be the best uncle. "Do you have a name yet" asked Robin. "Yes, we do". "Well what is it"asked Usopp. "Well kid came up with it...""and you let tulip head do that" replied Law. Kid growled. "Yes, and it's actually decent". "Let's hear it already. Maybe he's named after me"whined Luffy. "No, he's named after the great Captain Usopp". "Or maybe he's named after his Ssssuuuperrr uncle Franky". Kid got annoyed. "His name is Eustass Ryder, you dolts". Kid and Luffy feigned surprise. "That's actually really good, bolt head"."What did you call me you perverted cook"? I whacked them both upside the head. I heard a little voice talk. "Mommy, I'm thirsty. Ooooo who's daddy holding"? I grin. "That's your baby brother, Ryder. Wanna meet him"? She grinned and climbed into Killers lap. Kid let killer hold him and Grace beamed. "Hi, I'm your big sister. I'm going to be the best big sister. I'll help you get big and strong like me". I smiled and kid did too. She kissed his head and eventually fell back asleep in her favorite uncle's lap.
After Killer held him, Shira stole him and not to long after nami style him from Shira. They both argued who would be the best aunt. Sanji held him next. "He definitely has your beauty and strength, Ebony. Are you sure he's kid's"? Kid glared."of course he's mine. He's got my hair, you di-" I what em again. "What was that for"they asked. "Would you both stop yelling and cursing? I don't want him picking up bad mannerisms from you guys". "Even when you are angry, you are still lovely, Ebony dear"!!! "Shut up you dumb cook. I'm trying to get rid of a headache ". "What did you say moss head "? Nami knocked them out. "I swear, or children act better than them". Shira and I agree and Robin giggled. Ryder was being held by Robin. Next was usopp, who was telling him about how brave he was and had an army of a thousand warriors. When Luffy held him, he grinned. "You're going to be tough just like your mother. And hopefully you can grow fast so I can fight you". "Luffy, you can't fight my son". "Why"? "Because you do and I'll beat your ass". "Then I can fight you right"? "NO"! "Why not"? "I Just have birth, you idiot". "Okay, do the baby wouldn't be in danger, so why can't you"? I slap my forehead. Law chuckles and nami explains that I need to heal for a few weeks before I can really do anything. He still didn't understand and do law explained deeper.
You think he would know that a woman needs healing after giving birth since Nami gave birth to two of his children. But I guess Luffy is still Luffy. He's a child at heart.
I heard a ringing. My phone was ringing. It was Camie and Hatchan. They were telling me about how the whale at work finally gave birth to nine pups. Four were female, four were male, and one was a hermaphrodite. They all went over regular procedures, did blood work and testing on all of them. They even sent me pictures. I sent them pictures of Ryder. Camie decided to video call. She asked how I was doing. I told her great. I told her to keep me updated about the whales. After staying up for a couple more hours chatting, everybody went to sleep."you know Ebony, the springs me back. You remember when Kiki was first"? "How could I forget? You weren't exactly excited about the entire pregnancy. You were angry, didn't want me to have a child. You turned out a good dad". "I feel sorry cuz I was a jerk". "I wasn't expecting a baby either. I didn't ever think about having one, with everything that went on". We smiled and cuddled.
