01: Mother and Son

Sana is a determined and hardworking single mom in her late twenties, she works for one of the biggest companies in Seoul. With her sharp intellect and dedication, she balances her demanding job while striving to provide a stable and nurturing home for her son. Though her days are often packed with meetings and deadlines, her love for Kaito is unwavering, and she makes every effort to prioritize their time together.

Sana was a part of a respected and influential family in Japan; She was the only daughter of the Minatozaki clan. Back then, Sana was well known at her school for her looks and because she's always on top of her class. When she graduated highschool she decided to continue her studies abroad. She went to one of the prestigious schools in Korea and took her masters degree there. She was a 'career first' type of girl but all of her plans faded when she got pregnant. On the day that Kaito was born Sana was scared on how will she raise her son alone. It would definitely have a huge effect on her life because she wasn't mentally prepared for this scenario. Sana's family didn't want anything to do with her right after she gave birth, they treated her as if she was no longer a part of their family.

Kaito is a spirited six-year-old bursting with creativity and curiosity. He has a deep love for drawing, often filling his sketchbook with vibrant scenes of spaceships and galaxies, reflecting his fascination with space. Music also captures his heart, and he delights in singing and experimenting with sounds, filling their home with joyful melodies. An adventurous soul, Kaito dreams of traveling to distant places and exploring the wonders of the world. Yet, amidst all his interests, his love for his mom, Sana, is no match to any of his hobbies. For Kaito, Sana is his hero, his source of comfort and inspiration, and nothing makes him happier than spending time with her and making her smile.

One sunny Saturday morning, Sana decided that it was the perfect day for an adventure with Kaito. After eating their breakfast, she announced, "How about we explore the city like tourists?" Kaito's eyes lit up with excitement as he grabbed his favorite space-themed backpack, ready for a day of fun. Their first stop was a nearby art museum hosting a special exhibit on space-themed artworks. Kaito was captivated by the colorful paintings of planets and galaxies, and he eagerly shared his thoughts on each piece. Inspired, Sana suggested they create their own space art when they got home. Kaito couldn't wait, already thinking of a masterpiece of his own. Next, they headed to a park where Kaito could run free. They found a shady spot under a large tree and spread out a blanket for a picnic. As they enjoyed sandwiches and fruit, Kaito pulled out his sketchbook and began drawing a rocket ship while Sana encouraged his creativity, joining in with her own doodles.

After lunch, they decided to rent bikes and ride around the park. Kaito pedaled with glee, his laughter echoing in the air as they raced each other down the paths. They stopped to watch a street performer playing music, and Kaito couldn't resist dancing, twirling around and laughing as he showed off his moves. Sana was laughing and filming her son when her phone rang. Sana asked Kaito to stay where he was while she answered her phone quickly. "Hello?" Sana asked while she hurriedly went to a quiet place.

"I need you in the office. NOW!" The other end said which made Sana's eyes widened.

"Kaito! baby I'm sorry but mommy have an emergency meeting at work. I'll leave you to aunt Momo, is that okay?" Sana asked her son with panic and guilt in her eyes. Kaito knew that it was one of those days again that his mom was needed at work "Its okay mommy, I'll be okay with auntie Momo!" the young boy smiled at his mom and gave her a hug to comfort her. They went to Momo's place and Sana dropped off her son "Bye sweetie! Be good okay? I love you!" Sana shouted while still in her car ready to fly "Bye mommy! I will and I love you too!" once Kaito responded Sana smiled and went straight to her office as fast as possible.
