Year 850

"As everyone knows... 107 years ago...the entire human race, save for us was devoured by the titans. Following that, our ancestors constructed mighty walls that the titans couldn't get over... And thus, successfully secure a safe, titan-free domain."

The 104th cadet trainees are now gathered in the field, listening to the speech of General Darius Zackly, the commander of the three regiments. He is making his speech for the last day of the training corps.

"Today you have completed you military training. I will now announce the ten among you who have obtained the top results. Come forward if I call your name. One more thing, it's the first in history that there will be ties in the ranks."

Eren flashes a proud smile at his sister who glanced at him. He mouthed a 'congrats' as Oviya stepped forward.

"You are the top 10." General Zackly said that made the cadets smile.

"Now that you've completed your training, you have three choices. THE GARRISON, which reinforces the wall, thereby protecting all of the towns. THE SURVEY CORPS, prepared to sacrifice their lives outside the walls by defying the titans in their own domain. And THE MILITARY POLICE BRIGADE, which exercises control over the king's subject and maintains order!
Of course, out of you raw recruits, the only ones who can join the MPB are the ten with the highest scores!"

"Soon, I'll be asking you which branch you want to be assigned to. But as of right now, the 104th training corps is officially disbanded!"

"Dismissed!"

"YES, SIR!!!"

"LEVIIIIIIII!!!!" Hange's  voice echoed through the hallway as she barged into the mess hall. Erwin and Miche chuckled at her actions. "LEVIII!"

"Hang-san! You are too loud!" Moblit scolded at his squad leader.

Hange ignored him and sat beside Levi who hissed and looked at her. "What do you want?" He asked clearly annoyed.

Hange smirked and crossed her arms. "I never knew you had a girlfriend, huh? What's this rumor that humanities strongest soldier have been meeting up with a beautiful girl with hazel eyes, long, curly dark-brown hair and pale skin?! Huh?" She asked with a wide smile.

"Shut up, shitty glasses." Levi hissed and rolled his eyes.

"I will not unless you tell me who the girl is." Hange said wriggling her eyebrows.

Erwin and Levi's eyes met. Erwin knows about the girl being in the 104th trainees. Say something Erwin...

Erwin smirked and looked away.

"C'mon Levi! Who's the lucky girl!? Come on!" Hange said as she held his shoulders and started shaking him.

"Don't touch me with your filthy hands. Take a shower first." Levi said but Hange laughed it off.
