Deba stepped out of her car and stood near the door, eagerly waiting for her little Mivir, who had been away from her since morning. She sighed with a smile, thinking, "Subha se mera baccha mere saath nahi hai, pata nahi kya kya kiya hoga school mein."

As she watched other kids walking out, her heart leapt with excitement, knowing that her wait was almost over. She kept her eyes on the gate, and soon enough, there came Mivir, running straight towards her.

Deba quickly dropped to her knees, spreading her arms wide, and Mivir jumped into her embrace. She showered him with countless kisses.

Deba: "Mumma ko miss kiya na?"

Mivir, in his little baby tone, nodded sleepily and said, "Yeshhhh, Mumma."

Deba kissed his ear gently and whispered, "Aur kya kiya school mein, batao." She tilted his sleepy little face up to look at her, but Mivir just clung tightly to her and murmured, "Mumma... gha chawlo..."(ghar chalo)

Seeing how tired he was, Deba patted his head lovingly and said, "Accha chalo, aapko neend aa rahi hai."

She picked him up in her arms, carrying him back towards the car. Carefully, she placed him in the back seat and climbed in beside him.

Deba: "Makhan bhaiya, humein ghar drop kar dijiye. Phir car Karan ke paas le jaiye."

Makhan: "Ji, ma’am."

Makhan started the car, driving them home as Deba held her sleepy Mivir close, her heart full of love and contentment.

Karanvir's Flat
Karanvir's Room

Deba gently placed Mivir on the bed, covering him with a soft blanket. She leaned down and pressed a loving kiss on his face.

Deba: "Tum bilkul apne papa ki tarah ho—cute aur notorious. But you know what? Mumma loves you and papa a lot."

She kissed his closed eyelids tenderly, watching him sleep peacefully. Then, reaching for her phone, she dialed Karan's number, hoping to hear his voice. The call went unanswered, so she tried again. This time, a voice note popped up from him.

Karan's husky voice: "I'm in shooting. Raat ko milenge hum."

Deba raised an eyebrow, feeling a hint of surprise. "Aaj Karan ne 'I love you' bhi nahi kaha... Shayad bohat busy hoga." She brushed away the stray thoughts, dismissing her worries, and then slid in beside Mivir, wrapping an arm around him as she closed her eyes.

Evening

Mivir was happily zooming around the bedroom in his tiny toy car, his giggles filling the room. Deba was busy gathering his scattered toys and books, a gentle smile playing on her face as she watched him.

Deba: "So, aaj school mein kya kya hua?"

Mivir grinned, his eyes sparkling with excitement.

Mivir-Toyth aur colow (Toys aur colors!)

Deba’s face lit up as she crouched down to his level. "Wow, colours! Aur kya kya hua?" she asked, encouraging him to share more.

Mivir held up three little fingers and said with an adorable lisp.
Mivir- "Mith bola… good boy banna!" (Miss bola… good boy banna)

Deba chuckled, delighted by his cuteness. "Acha? Mera Mivir toh sabse acha boy hai!" She picked him up, holding him close in her arms.

Mivir continued in his innocent voice.
"Mumma, Mith ne bola… ‘thit down,’ par main uthha raha! ("Mumma, Miss ne bola… ‘sit down,’ par main uthe raha!")

Deba burst out laughing. "Acha, toh tum naughty ban rahe the? Miss ko pareshaan kiya tumne!"

Mivir giggled and shook his head.
"Nahi Mumma, main toh… wace kalta!("Nahi Mumma, main toh… race kare rahe tha!")
