Hello, and welcome to my second mystery book (Elegy in the Library is still in the process). This, The Midnight Manifest, will be a short story, just because I still have to work on my other project and I can't focus unless I'm working on multiple things at once. Also, I don't think this will have any trigger warnings, just mentions of death (not graphic though).
First, I'd like to thank Chat GPT (again). Mainly for the cover (I hate making covers) but also because it kinda helped sort my brainstorming process, which if you saw that document of all the information, you'd probably have a panic attack (I know I did).
Second, I'd like to thank my best friend (no, I'm not name dropping) because she's what helps me get new ideas for my projects, whether she knows it or not.
Third, I'd like to thank my dogs. Weird I know, but even though they can be a pain in the ass, they make me want to be better, at everything.
And third, I'd like to thank you, reader, for seeing this and deciding to read it. I hope you enjoy and please give me your thoughts, thank you.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know I didn't just win an Oscar or something, but those are just some people/robots I'd like to give thanks to. And when you read this, you might be like, "Why, Liana? Why is it always the damn professor who dies?" my answer is, they're easy targets duh. Anyway, onto chapter one!
