Chapter 27

People are always talking about the famous, so called, GOLDEN RULE.

It goes something like, "Treat others the way you want to be treated."

How the HELL do you expect me to do that when the people in front of me literally treat me like DOG SHIT??

Joaquin, (pronounced, Wah-KEEN) was at the Halloween dance at my school. Here's the funny part: me and my friend, Mellie, who happens to know this dude very well. They were in the same grade thrice, and Mellie calls him "Hunter".

Well, Me and Mellie were walking out of the dark gymnasium, and she stepped on my toe, and we booth when tumbling down. RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM!! Hilariously stupid, I know.

Thank GOODNESS it was dark in the gym!

Here's the weirdest part: We had a pizza halloween party at my friend's place, and I was getting ready. While I was in the freaking bathroom, the doorbell rang. I wasn't able to answer because, I was in the bathroom, DUH.

There was a boy's voice, like a schoolboy.

My grandma doesn't speak much english, so she tried to explain as best as she could for who ever it was to come back at 2:00. They said ok and left.

They didn't come back.

That's right, I said they. Granny told me it was a little girl, and a boy my age.

I checked the doorbell camera. She was right.

A little girl with blonde hair and a pink shirt was holding hands with a boy twice her height with messy brown hair and a baggy white hoodie.

I don't know if it was Joaquin, because the face was waaaay to blurry to see, and the girl, I simply had know idea who it was.

Maybe they'll come back again.

Until then, I'm trying to figure who it was, if it was really him, or some other guy with really good hair.

Whatever.

But now that I really think about it, I have a feeling it might be Joao.

But who am I kidding?

All I want to know is who that boy was, and what he wanted. I freaking CHOKED on my water thinking about this! I better get my answers!
