The woman stumbled out of the noisy house, her black dress swaying as she struggled to maintain her balance. Her brown eyes glazed over from one too many drinks, and her dark brown wavy hair tousled from a night of partying. Fumbling with her phone, she dialed for a lyft, the screen blurring in front of her.
Within seconds, a car pulled up, and the woman clumsily climbed into the backseat. The driver turned around, his face obscured in the dimly lit interior. "Hi there," he greeted warmly.
"Heyyy," The woman slurred in response. "Can you take me home, please?" she asked, struggling to form coherent words. The driver nodded and pulled away from the curb as the woman sank into the seat, the world spinning around her. Through the haze of alcohol, she managed to mumble, "What's your name?"
"Blake," he replied, his voice curt. The rest of the ride was a blur as she drifted in and out of consciousness, the soft hum of the engine lulling her into a drowsy stupor.
"As you can see in the video footage, the last time twenty-two year old Kimberly Parish was seen was when she left a houseparty at 1 a.m, on July 3, she entered a white 2010 BMW and has been missing for a week, authorities say.."
The TV suddenly turned off. "Norah, you need to focus on getting ready, you're going to be late, again." Norah's dorm mate complained. Norah put her brown flannel over her white crop top shirt in a rushed motion then put her white adidas on. "Sorry Kendra..but I think I'm going to need 5 more minutes. I think you should head out without me if you wanna make it on time." Norah said, then let out a yelp as she almost tripped over a cord, Kendra knelt down and untangled Norah's leg from the cord."Five more minutes? You can't be serious."
"I haven't styled my hair yet."
"Girl ... .Okay, I'm leaving, Professor Owens might not let you enter this time, Virgil told me that you've basically used almost every excuse possible so goodluck." Kendra left the dorm room. Norah sighed then sat at her desk then began to do her hair in front of her mirror, she just wasn't a morning person, but she made her classes in the morning so she could be in class with Virgil.
"I hope Kimberly reunites with her family soon." Norah thought to herself. Even though she and Kimerly aren't friends, she's still a student at WhiteDale University just like her and the fact that she's still missing after a week is concerning.
Norah styled her shoulder length blonde hair into a sleeker shag style. As she stared at her reflection she noticed that her amber brown eyes were bloodshot, she pulled eye drops out of her drawer then squeezed some into her eyes.
Norah attached her zenith pocket watch chain to her belt loops of her black ripped jeans then headed to professor Owens class.
"I'll be fine as long as I make it to class before professor Owen he won't say anything."
As Norah entered the class she slowed- ∞ time down and sat in the second row next to her friend Virgil. He has an ectomorph build. Virgil's brown skin seemed golden as the light through the window shone on him, contrasting to her pale, vampire like complexion. His eyes are dark brown, and his light dyed brown hair was styled in two strand twist outs. He wore a green hoodie paired with blue jean shorts and white adidas.

Professor Owen narrowed his eyes as he stared at Norah. "Did you just arrive?" He questioned as he took his blazer off, revealing his white turtleneck. Norah cleared her throat then adjusted in her seat. "No, I've been here, professor."
"...Okay..."
Owen turned his attention back onto the rest of the class then continued to take attendance. "Damn, I thought he was gonna kick you out for sure." Virgil said, his worry was quickly replaced by a grin. "You slowed down time right?" Virgil questioned, Norah's expression was a dead giveaway that he was right, she was never good at masking her reactions. "I had no choice this time, I wouldn't have done so otherwise." Norah mumbled as she stopped talking when she noticed that Professor Owen was staring at them.
