Unspoken

The truth about inequality with words that make you see
This broken society where some live lavishly
While others struggle.
While others struggle
While others struggle

a game twisted, unfair, sly?
where the rich get richer and the poor, die?
and some are left with thoughts still wondering,
while others cry, cry, cry

when the richer get richer and the poor die
how the stain just lingers and erodes minds
when the scale tips heavily to golds side
say it doesn't feel right

let's talk about equality
and how they lied to us
our worlds dying rapidly
but we don't bear the cost
while others suffer
while others suffer
while others suffer

if we stand together, if we fight
future generations, can find their light
maybe if we stand up tall and do what's right, and unite
something bright not a dream but a sight.

things that they've been dreaming of,
equality, rights,
things you've never thought to be a gift,
to recognize
things that goes unspoken for
just who made us blind
say it doesn't feel right

Their cries forsaken, gnaws my dreams
"If only" is a word that should never have been
More words stating the ways that we can achieve
The one of might of joy of ease
Is what should be at every tip of our tongues
the one that should be the foundation of our young
yet the old forsaken they ought to be not
and for miracles i pray that all is not lost.
