Buck had been a bad kid, being sent away to live with his aunt for the summer while his parents stopped being so angry at him...
In a way, it was good. It gave his parents time to cool down and he got to have some much needed alone time in his aunt's huge mansion. The only downside was being away from Nassor for so long, but the two still called every day, multiple times a day.
There was one evening when Nassor wouldn't pick up, but Buck didn't think much of that. The only thing that plagues his mind was how Nassor ignored him the first week of school, skipping halls when he saw Buck coming and not walking to school with him, not even picking up his calls in the evening.
They had one class together, science, and when Buck tried to talk to him, Nassor abruptly left and skipped the next few days of school. He tried to find him sometime after school, but his anger got the best of him and he decided he didn't have to listen to anything he said.
He was taking a brisk walk close to Nassors neighborhood one drafty day in October, just a force of habit, when Nassor tried to walk up to him.
"Buck!" Nassor said, looking at him from a few feet away.
Now that he was seeing him face to face, Buck had to admit Nassor really grew into his features this summer. His hair was still pitch black, his skin was still pale and translucent, but his cheekbones were higher, and his lips were soft and light pink with that succulent cupids bow...
Buck turned around and started walking again, not a word escaping his lips.
"Oh Buck, I'm sorry." Nassor said, his voice was soft like velvet.
His hand reached out and grabbed his shoulder but Buck, not being quick enough to pull away, looked at Nassors sunken eyes as they couldn't meet him. "I-I don't know what game you think you can play with me, Nassor, but I want an explanation not an apology!"
Nassor's grip tightened on Buck's shoulder and pulled him deep into the woods, off of the path, and didn't stop until they were standing in a clearing, away from any civilization.
Buck phanted a little as he caught his breath. "Like I said," He dusted off his clothing, picking a few leaves out of his hair. "I want an explanation."
Nassor released him but still couldn't look him in the eyes. "Do you really want to know what happened?"
Buck nodded, unsure of what else to say.
Nassor took a step back and pulled his hoodie off above his head, and revealed two deep red bumps on his jugular. All Buck could concentrate on was his toned biceps, the tightness of his tank top around his abs, and how incredibly hot he was. "What are you saying?"
Nassor didn't pull his hoodie back on, instead, he tossed it aside and looked at Buck. His eyes were deep liquid pools of dark water, and Buck couldn't break away. "Since you've been away, I didn't know who else to give my attention...I went to the mall one night...and met a woman." he sighed and looked at the sky. "She wasn't Interesting, but she...turned me into this." He motioned down to his body before taking a small step towards Buck.
Buck's eyes followed his hand, looking at the strong muscles he tried not to look at the entire time. "Turned you into what?"
Nassor gave him a look, a small smile creeping into his face. "Well think about it, Buck. I have superhuman strength, hearing, senses, my appetite has turned...rare." He took a few steps forward as he spoke, standing nearly a foot away from Buck now.
"O-oh." Buck gulped, feeling his hair stand on end when Nassor towered in front of him, barely 6 inches separating them.
"I can hear things from miles away, and," he leaned in and Buck's eyes fluttered, their noses practically touching now. "I can smell the fear in your blood. Tell me, what am I?"
